    Refuses to provide customer support unless they installed the generator or a $400+ service call fee is paid! Stated they had millions of their own customers and therefore didn't have to provide manufacturers service or support for others!

    The sales came out when he said he would and install was prompt. service after the sale is important and my generator has been serviced twice this year and on time.

    We purchased 2 generator from Wheeler in the last 2 years, 1 for our home and 1 for our daughter's. The salesman for our daughter's directed the placement of her generator in a location I questioned at the time. He said this was the best place. In the first extended outage gas exhaust collected under her covered patio and entered her home. If not for her gas detector she and her disabled daughter would have perished. The fire department came out and cleared her home of gas. The owner, James ******* came out and assured us he would have the generator moved.. That was in June. After several promises to come out, they have now stopped returning calls or texts. Their service after sales is non existent. We simply want this generator moved to a safe place, where I wanted it in the first place. The salesman was fired because "he made stupid statements ", per James *******.
