    Our company had a very negative experience with Netchex and decided to switch to a different payroll provider as a result. They were incorrectly deducting a required paid medical leave tax for our state and we had to go back & forth to get it corrected. To fix it, they ran corrections for past payrolls which caused our employee PTO balances to be affected. We contacted the Netchex employee who we worked with to do the corrections to fix the PTO but then he stopped responding and we were later told he left the company. We had to start over with a new rep and explain to them everything that happened and get their help in correcting the PTO balances. After all that, we finally found out that the tax adjustments were still not done for fixing the tax issue and we had to escalate up to higher management to finally get it resolved. After finally getting the tax deduction fixed, they then didn't take the employer portion of the tax on a bonus payroll. It took months to get that corrected and in the meantime it was nearly impossible to get any updates. Months later I was told that the issue was due to a "system glitch" and the tax adjustment had already previously been done, but I was not notified despite repeatedly calling & emailing asking for updates. They were unhelpful with employees who moved between states- they were still deducting taxes from the old state even after the employee's address was updated. This then had to be corrected and tax amendments for previous quarters and years had to be done, which they tried to charge us for despite the fact that we notified them when the first employee moved out of state and it still didn't get handled appropriately. We got them to agree to waive the fees and penalties due to the poor service we received, but they later tried to charge us for them again. The manager who agreed to waive had changed positions. It truly felt like they didn't care about us and whether we stayed with them as a client, so we moved on. Avoid them!

    We have been a customer of ********************** for nearly ************************************************ October 2022. The review below could have been written by us as well. I strongly suggest not doing business with this incompetent company. Our taxes were also filed incorrectly and I can not get anyone to respond to my emails in a manner to rectify our situation. I do finally get a response from the Tax 'Manager' *** telling me if I do not hear from anyone in a week then to let him know. I then email *** and he does not respond for weeks. *** also told me that if I was not such a 'pest' then I probably wouldn't be speaking to him on the phone. He called me a pest because when no one responds to my emails and phone calls for days I keep calling and emailing. I understand mistakes happen, however, the lack of acknowledgement, response and competency is unfortunate. I just want the issue rectified and to be treated in a manner that is productive. Please please save your time and money, the frustration is not worth dealing with them. Customer support does not exist at this company and lack of ownership will leave you wishing you didnt do business with them in the first place.
