      Generac Supercenter of Baton Rouge Louisiana installed a whole home generator at my home on April 11, 2024. At the time I was not informed that in order to complete the installation my solar panels had to be disconnected. After the generator was installed I began to notice that my electric bill started to increase. Initially I thought there was a problem with the solar panels so I contacted *******, the solar panel company, to send a technician out to check. Upon their inspection it was discovered that the solar panel box had been turned off and the cables to the panels were just laying in the electrical box unattached. After several visits from ******* my panels were finally put back in service 12/20/2024 nine months after Generac Supercenter disconnected them. During those nine months I was still paying ******* by auto payment $54.99 monthly ($494.91 total). I have contacted Generac Supercenter and asked that I at least be reimbursed the $494.91 paid to ******* during this time. As of today 3/06/2025 I have not gotten a response. I’ve attached a screenshot showing the panel inactivity during this period.

      STOP!!!STOP!!! STOP!!!! Please go with any company other than Generator Supercenter. I purchased a generator and my relative purchased a generator at the same time. We both had the worst experience working with a professional company. WE continued to get the run around trying to get the generator installed. Not until I spoke with Jason did I get it installed. I purchased the monitoring, but did not get the devise installed. They had the audacity to ask me for the remaining balance when they have not even completed installing the monitoring devise. My relative still has not gotten her carbon monoxide detector installed but they want the balance paid. Consumers PLEASE go with another company. WORST experience.
