    I was promised 8 swim sessions for my son; two per week for 4 weeks. My son had one swim session during the first week due to the “swim instructor” ********, bailing because her daughter was sick. She promised to add an extra session the following week. During the second week of swim sessions, she bailed claiming that it was storming bad by her home and she was afraid to drive in the weather and had no lights. My son’s father and I don’t live far from her so we knew that she was lying. After that incident, we decided to not move forward with her services because of the lies and requested a refund. She agreed to refund us but it has been a month now and she has had nothing but excuses and lies as to why the money hasn’t been sent yet. We have been very patient and respectful , but she is showing no interest of refunding our money. She promised to give it to me after I threaten to report her to the BBB, but I still haven’t received anything. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to patronize The Mermaid Effect Swim School due to her lack of accountability and consistency as well as her lies
