    ordered 5 pcs. square tubing 6' long
    and 2 pcs. 3/4" round bar. Just what
    I needed for my project. UPS had a
    one day delay not Metals Depot fault.
    I have already told 2 people about them.
    Will be coming back!

    I have had a horrible experience with Metals Depot.
    First, they had a misleading description for item F5182, 1/8x2 304 Stainless Steel Flat; as a nonmetal professional, I thought it should be shining and ready to use, but I received a non-shining metal, which was not I wanted.
    Then I called their customer service for possible returning and replacing another item. The customer service lady (I wouldn't say I like to expose her name here) told me I needed to show her the product picture, then after she received the picture, she said it was not returnable. I told her the description was misleading, and according to their policy, "In special situation, a return may be allowed within ten days of purchase, and 30% restock fee plus actual shipping cost incurred." I told her I would pay the above fee and my purchase was within 10 days, because the order was useless. However, the lady told her manager to talk to me with a firm answer, "No return!"
    I told the manager I was going to file a complaint to BBB, unless my order could be returned according to your policy; the manager said: "Go ahead."
    In Summary, everyone should be cautious about ordering anything from this company,
    1. Misleading product description,
    2. The product can not be returned even though the invoice clearly states that a return may be allowed in special situations.
    3. Awful customer service, even encouraging the customer to file complaints to BBB.
    I hope the president of Metals Depot responds to my complaint, and I will give you back a positive review and thank you for your service.
