    I am writing this review to warn others about the shockingly unprofessional and careless service I received from **The Castle Arms**. If you value your time, money, and sanity, steer clear of this company. On **March 13, 2025**, I placed an order for a CZ457 firearm. Immediately after placing the order, I noticed no confirmation email or details in my account. Concerned, I reached out to their customer support, who casually replied, *“Good morning, Yogesh. I have received your order. Thank you.”* No order number was provided until I explicitly asked for it. By **March 17**, I still had no shipping updates, so I inquired again. Their response? A dismissive, *“It looks like they cancelled the order and it has been refunded. I was not here on Friday so I am unsure why. I do apologize for the inconvenience.”* Let that sink in: **They cancelled my order without explanation, notification, or accountability**. To add insult to injury, this firearm was meant for my daughter, who had been eagerly waiting for it. When I pleaded with them to reinstate the order—even offering to reprovide my credit card information and emphasizing, *“I don’t need money back, I need the firearm”*—they ignored my request entirely. Not a single attempt was made to resolve the issue. They just told me that I can buy it now for $150 more than what I purchased for. **Key Issues with The Castle Arms:** 1. **Zero Transparency**: They cancelled my order without any prior notice or explanation. 2. **Abysmal Communication**: Their support team either lacks training or simply doesn’t care. Responses were vague, unhelpful, and devoid of empathy. 3. **No Accountability**: The representative admitted they “didn’t know why” the order was cancelled and made no effort to find out. 4. **Disregard for Customers**: My daughter’s excitement and my willingness to work with them meant nothing. They chose the lazy route—refunding without resolving.

    Hello Yogesh, I disagree with your characterization of our company. We are not unprofessional or careless. You received an immediate response from me, the owner of the company, an offer to make it right (which you refused), and a complete 100% refund. You have no grounds for complaint. To elaborate, the item you attempted to order was an item which would have dropshipped from our distributor. Our distributor's data feed conveyed the incorrect price (a systemic error--effecting close to 20,000 items--we immediately fixed after you placed an order). This price was $200 below our cost. Rather than refund you without explanation, as most companies would have, I offered to sell you the firearm--at our cost. You refused this offer. Accordingly, we immediately refunded you 100% of what you paid. We did our best given the circumstances. And every reasonable customer would understand this. If this isn't a perfect example of what it means to care and be professional, I don't know what is. You are out no money. You are out the least amount of time possible. As for your sanity, I cannot comment. If you ever want to order from us again, I'll make it up to you by offering you the best price I can on whatever you're looking for, so long as you delete this frivolous review which was clearly generated with the help of AI.     I just completed my second purchase in the store in Nicholasville, Kentucky, which is the same one that fulfills the online orders. Both times I knew exactly what I was looking for and I was in and out quick with no problems. Both experiences were first, very professional and courteous.

    After speaking with the owner of this shop, I can tell you that he is going to do everything possible to make my previous issue right. I had received a handgun not in the condition as described on the webpage and as I write this the owner is in the process of returning the handgun and re issuing another as described on the web page.     At the Cincinnati Beechmont Castle Arms branch store, I was sold a defective used gun that I did not discover was defective until I got home to try it out. I called my salesman, and he said they don't check out the guns when they receive them. They just put them on the shelf and sell them. It was also a similar but different version of model than what I wanted and I did not notice that until I got home. He said there no refunds and there was a 25% fee to return it even though I had just bought it. The store manage agreed with him. I offered to buy the new more expensive version that I actually wanted which they had if they would exchange it. They would come out ahead and it would resolve the defective gun issue which was good customer service. No dice. BUYER BEWARE came to mind. The website talked about how personable, friendly customer service oriented, and honest they are so I contacted them and explained what happened to me at their branch in a customer service email. I figured they would be upset about how their branch store had ripped me off. I received no response. Apparently this is their normal business procedure at all of their stores. I was planning to buy accessories for my gun and ammo but this experience ended my relationship with the store. Beware and know if you buy something there that it could be broken and they don't care and you cannot get a refund for defective merchandise. All purchases are AS IS. Garbage in, garbage out.

    Crooks. Bought a handgun expensive, after my card was charged they changed my order to a cheap handgun still charging me for the expensive one. Just buy luck i downloaded the original receipt which they forgot to modify proving the original purchase. They have not returned my calls or emails. This is a crime in my state, i don't know how they can get away with it in KY. Do not buy from this company save yourself some headaches.

    Incredibly shady business practices. My cart had an order of $369.98 with shipping of $26.95 for some ammo. Upon clicking to buy this ammo, I was charged tax of $36.72, an almost 10% tax rate. I attempted to cancel immediately after seeing this, and they still shipped my order and charged me a restocking fee of 15% even though I was in contact with them to cancel before the order shipped. Do not buy from this retailer and do not trust their deceptive business practices.

    Ordered some 7.62x39 ammo from these great guys yesterday, I even called and expressed how I was concerned about how legit they look, got 1000 rounds for $349 ($7) a box and it was great. Absolutely worth every penny and they had my order ready to pick up in 4 hours. Well deserved 5/5 from these men and women.
