    I purchased a repossessed shed from a local seller in late May/early June 2023 and wrote two checks to Secure Storage Sheds - half the amount at purchase, and the second half at delivery. I received no communication at all from the company until April 2024, when they told me I had not made payment for the shed and owed the amount in full. I talked to Jennifer Jackson and she told me that they had my checks, but their bookkeeper claimed they had been returned as invalid. Yet nobody had attempted to contact me between June 2023 and April 2024 to resolve the situation. I told her the account from which the checks had been written was closed Jan 2024 and my bank would need time to investigate. She indicated she was OK with that. My bank's investigation determined no attempts at all had been made to cash the checks. I received no additional communications (no calls, no letters, no emails) from them until May 24, when I received an email from Jennifer that said payment in full was due by June 1 or they were going to repossess the shed. I had mailed a new check on May 22 after resolving the investigation with my bank. Do not trust this company, their business practices are highly suspect and they will blame you for their own shortcomings and irresponsibility.
