I think Bud's prices online beat the competition! I compared two other well known suppliers and usually Buds prices are much better. They offer free shipping most of the time which is a huge Plus with today's economy. I've been to the retail store and the staff were very professional and courteous. One star ONLY because Buds refused to ship a gun with 17rd magazines to an FFL in Colorado. To be clear, it is 100% legal for a gun shop / FFL in Colorado to receive high-capacity magazines and modify them prior to handing over to a retail customer (me). My FFL does this all the time from other internet sellers and when I explained this to Buds representative, she said there are no exceptions to Bud's policy in this matter. Buds offer to ship the gun sans magazines erased the very competitive retail price Buds offered as it would cost me ~$80 to replace the magazines on this end. I bought the exact gun I wanted (with magazines shipped) from IMPACT Guns and my local FFL will comply with CO state law before handing me over the magazines...no muss, no fuss and perfectly legal. Sorry Buds, your unbendable policy just cost you a ~$630 sale and probably any of my future business if hi-capacity magazines are involved.

We are very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with our policy. In our state restrictions we do advise that we will not ship a firearm to be made complaint. This means that we would not ship a firearm to have magazines pinned, stocks pinned, or any other adjustments to be made to the firearm/magazine after delivery. We are happy to assist to find another item that is complaint in the event that such an option is available, or if the only issue is the magazine capacity we do offer the option to remove the magazine prior to shipment.Review fromKevin M

Buds does a great business.
I’ve always shopped Bud’s and used their pricing as my “baseline.” I finally ordered the gun I’ve been trying to buy locally. LGS wouldn’t stock it. I avoided the CC fee by paying with ACH. The ACH payment was frustratingly slow.
Ordered Dec21. ACH drafted Dec22. ACH did not “clear” until Dec28. Gun shipped Dec29 and arrived Jan 3.
Pay a little more and buy locally if it’s available and you don’t choose to wait.Review fromRobert W

I live in California where anything to do with ammunition or firearms is terrible and complicated. I called Bud’s Gunshop and was given exact instructions on how to order and have some Apex Duck hunting shotgun shells delivered with an absolute minimum amount of trouble. I would highly recommend Buds Gunshop for anything as they are the best!Review fromJames B
