My husband bought this a trailor seven months ago. We have had no issues until recently. My husband and son in law gave the payment as a money order for January and February rent. We are being told by Flag Ship that they didn't receive the payment and they filed a unlawful eviction after lying about how they stated that they stopped the eviction. They refuse to find the payment in their office and my family has the pay stubs for evidence.Flagship Communities

I would like to be of assistance. Would you be able to provide the name of the community where you reside?Flagship Communities

I've lived in one of the communities for 7 years now, bought my trailer when I moved in. Lot rent was $300/mo. This company came in and has just been gouging people on costs. Right now lot rent is about $700/mo. They gave 30 days to switch to their internet option ($65 non-negotiable unless you want to pay cable and internet twice). It's $25/mo for trash collection (I pay for a second can trough ****** and its $14 every 3 months). Water and sanitation is a guaranteed $100 PER MONTH, previously it was about half of that. not to mention "real estate fees" and "water processing fee". And lets not forget the late fee of $70 if not paid by the end of the day on the 5th and another $70 if not paid by the 15th. The next month lot rent get posted by the 25th of each month forcing you to pay for the next month in advance if you are behind. They try to put you into a hole you cant get out of. I have a note on my door everyday about something different that is getting nitpicked at. I have 2 cars and they keep marking the tires on one of my vehicles when I literally am unable to drive 2 cars at once so I'm not sure what they want. They'll probably respond mentioning that I'm "not listed" as a resident and that's because it's in a family members name and I've been trying for 5 years to put it in my name, but with the carousel of managers they have going through the properties, you'll never get anything done. I'm looking to buy a house now because I'm sure after they raise lot rent again in January (every year), that I'll pay just as much for a house and I'll just let that trailer sit and rot. Worst customer service, awful experience and just all around a miserable place!Flagship Communities

At Flagship Communities, we do our very best to provide services and amenities to our residents that are above and beyond what our competitors offer and that are in keeping with surrounding market rates. We negotiated a much-reduced cost for high-speed Spectrum Internet and *********** that includes over 70 channels. In order to secure this reduced rate, we are required include every home in our community. With this new amenity, our residents are saving a minimum of 40% if they were to secure this service on their own, and in many cases, they are saving 50-60% on their previous monthly costs. Ms. **** is correct that she is not listed as a resident. I am available via email to assist with the issue with her registration as a resident if that remains an issue.Review fromKrystal W

They are forcing us to pay for cable and internet $65. They say we can opt-out but we still responsible to pay it. I own my trailer, for us have this the have run a cable line to my trailer make whole in my trailer. Wouldn't that be destruction of property? I own my home. They need my permission touch my trailer. Internet and cable in not a must. There people on fixed income. This is ridiculous. I don't even see anything in my lease saying they allow to do this.Flagship Communities

Residents in the Community were notified in advance that an amenity fee was being implemented to bring a high-speed internet and TV package to every home in the Community. The typical cost of the package is $109.99; however, the amenity charge was deceased to $65.00. The community lease provides for this charge as well as garbage and assessments on a pro rata share. With the Affordable Connectivity Program ending on 5/31/24, the Community secured a reasonable option for resident access.Review fromJuanita J

So living here and owning your home has no benefit of freedom of choosing your own internet provider. They contract with ******** the worst internet provider in the area and add $65 to your rent rather you use the service or not. Everyone has been financially burdenedwith final bills from the other internet providers to turn off and unbundle your services. They constantly change prices for water and garbage bills w/o notice and even though you're paying lot rent they charge property taxes on a monthly basis. Terrible unprofessional management. Find a better park in the area..one They don't manage.Flagship Communities

The response to this email is a deflection to support a corporations bad choices. Many people in several communities have voiced their opinion on how unfair and life changing this regulation is being forced on them. Many people buy their medications, soap toilet paper and pet food the first of the month after the rent and utilities are paid. This additional fee on the rent is causing hardships on people that can't afford it and many think it's targeting the old and people who don't speak English in the way that they are not giving an option if they can afford amenities. You can watch antenna tv provided by the government for free alot of people are doing this bc they can't afford the amenities now being forced on them. These are mobile homes not apartments. People pay on them long term like houses and can't just pick up and move because they can't afford cable and Internet. Our internet through my husband's veterans benefits was cheaper and we had better service. The package that is being forced on us has no local channels and we have less internet speeds. Nobody watches tv like that people use apps when they turn on the tv it's for local channels and alot of the time it's in dangerous weather conditions. We won't have that with this provided package. This is an outdated mind set and a nod to corporate intrusion on people. It should be re thought and people should be able to opt in or out. The price we pay for your so called amenities should be ours. People are showing their outrage in all the communities with disrespect by throwing trash and cigarette butt's in the streets not cutting and cleaning their yards like they used to and a lot of other things that says their not happy by being forced to pay more for rent and not having freedom of choice. You got it should think about it. No one would ever refer someone to live in one of these communities and people are wanting to pull their homes out or tear them down to keep from contributing to a unfair harsh regulation for mobile home ownersReview fromROGER G

Thieves picking on mental and disabled communities Asked for a copy of both 350 dollar inspections. Once when I moved in and again after manager told my buyer right in front of me i was responsible for the second inspection all I got was an annual inspection dated 4/28/2023. Want a copy of all my evidence. She told me a potential buyer is not going to be approved before cooperate office denied him. So he wasted his money. It's been over 45 days. So keep the money!!!! Disabled person and mentally ill person like myself shouldn't be treated this way. Run!!! Don't do it. Manager denies people before the background check is even done. You'll lose your money if the manager doesn't like you Indian oaks pointeFlagship Communities

Have lived in the park for 8 years, received note on Friday that they will not renew my lease and I have to be out in 30 days...one week before Christmas, with small children. So it's pay 10k to move my home, if I can find a place and someone to do it or find something to rent and leave. Do not ever do business with this crooked organization. They are putting many families out into the cold.
