    I am a 68-year-old retired social worker. In 2017, I was in a serious car accident that left me needing to learn to walk again. It was slow but steady. A doctor recommended I go to National Prosthetics and Orthotics, Inc. for a pair of orthopedic shoes that may help with my level of pain and help me to fall less. Well, I went in and had a fitting (all good right?) came back after the shoes came in and they had ordered the wrong pair and had to reorder. Still all good, anyone can make a mistake. So, when I went back, I was charged $550 dollars for these pair of boots. Wow expensive for an old woman but medically needed! I had one pair of boots for working outside but needed a gym shoe for in the house. I went on the website of the orthopedic boots and found out I can get exact same boot with the exact same insole for $110. That's a. 500% mark up. Seriously, why didn't they just give me the name of ***** **** who make the shoes. What a rip-off!!!
