    Multiple price increases. Multiple missed pickups that were pre-paid so no avenue for recourse. No refunds for missed pickups.

    They are way over priced. I found 2 companies cheaper. When I called to cancel they are charging for a prorated month that they did.nothing for us in. And charging for a can pick up I never wanted. Rude customer service.

    One of the worst “businesses” I have ever dealt with. Very unprofessional. Tries to change what you first agreed to. Tries to charge for other peoples services when I canceled 3 months prior to what they requested. Adds extra fees without signing any agreement to it. Extremely rude and very hard to communicate with and get ahold of. I had to call 50 times in order to cancel and they magically lost my request to cancel along with the whole email conversation about what happened. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

    If you ever need to contact them forget it. Every time you call you will be number 17 on waitlist, 27 on waitlist. I called two weeks everyday. I never got a person and was always on the ridiculously stupid waitlist. How to not run a business

    They will not pick up all recycling unless it is in the container. This mainly being large cardboard boxes, that are broken down. They said everything has to be in the container. Putting in large boxes takes up the entire container. We have always broken down and put our smaller boxes in the container. But when you have recycling over 2 weeks with a family of four, that usually fills up the container. It is a paid for service that they are making me not want to pay for anymore.

    They did not pick up and did not call. They are unwilling to come and get my trash before the next scheduled day. Not very service oriented...

    Our 523 home HOA has been under contract with WC for quite a long time. The current contract was signed in 2018 and runs through until 2023. I have a copy of the contract, and in addition to picking up a 95 gallon can, they agreed to collecting a maximum of 10 bags per week. This past Sunday, I had filled two 33 gallon lawn bags with leaves from our maple trees, in addition to 4 very small bundles of twigs...all 4 of which could have been picked up with one hand. Without any notice to the HOA whatsoever, WC unilaterally changed their policy to a maximum of "5 kitchen size bags...not the 10 lawn bags they had initially agreed to. On Monday morning, I came home to find a note on my receptacle stating "THEIR" new policy, and in the case of the four small bundles of twigs...those were counted as 4 bags. I notified our HOA Board President, and was later told that the Board is now renegotiating the contract with WC. Let's be clear about one thing...Waste Connections is under contract, and therefore is in breach of the agreement. They do NOT have the authority to unilaterally change horses in the middle of the stream...for any reason. I would add, that this comes at a time of the year when fall leaves are being collected and bagged. What a coincidence. Unfortunately, the ********** HOA Board of Directors have no spine (unless they're going after a homeowner for non-compliance of a CC&R), so they're all going to stick it to the very people they were elected to represent, in favor of a vendor who refuses to abide by a long standing contractural agreement. I would sooner pay their competition a higher price rather than to do business with these malcontents. I suppose if the homeowners had unilaterally decided they were going to pay less for the service...WC would be okay with that. NOT ON YOUR LIFE! And judging from Waste Connections less than impressive ratings, I'm apparently not alone.

    Looks like yet another bad review to give. I received my bill for the months of May - July and called to have service cancelled before the service was to begin. They pinged me again in June because the bill was not paid. At that time I again told them I wished to have the service cancelled. They then called at the beginning of July and after the third request to cancel, they finally did. The catch is that they still wanted to bill me for the service that I had requested to be cancelled. On top of that they are trying to now charge me for breaking a service agreement that I did not sign, and to come pick up the container. $75 for the service cancellation and $25 for the container pickup along with the service that I asked to have cancelled. Absolutely ridiculous. Guess they are living up to the racketeering stereotype that trash companies have. Will never use this company again and will absolutely recommend against anyone I know using them in the future. Agree with other reviews that the professionalism is third rate.
