    Wow, thank you Linda I will not be using these guys I was checking to see how the company was just by their response I can see you are correct these people SUCK thanks DOGGED A BULLET THERE!!! Hope you get reimbursed for the damages I know I will be telling everyone NOT to use these guys!!!!!

    HEADLINES: A. MOVERS ARE POORLY TRAINED, INADEQUATELY SUPERVISED, AND CARELESS. B. UPPER MANAGEMENT ARE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL C. DAMAGES TO BOTH PROPERTY AND BELONGINGS WAS EXTENSIVE AND COSTLY D. POST MOVING COMMUNICATION, INCLUDING MAKING A DAMAGE CLAIM, IS IMPOSSIBLE We hired College H.U.N.K.S. Hauling Junk and Moving Topeka and NW Kansas City (HUNKS) to pack our household on June 7, 2023, and to move our household on June 8, 2023. It quickly became obvious that the movers were poorly trained, inadequately supervised, and generally careless with everything they handled. I could give dozens of instances of such carelessness, but here's just one. The movers didn't use moving pads under furniture they were moving across the hardwood floors of the home from which we were moving. Consequently, they scratched through the finish of the floor in the family room, in an area about 2-feet square. We had to pay our Buyers $1,700 ($1,500 from us, plus $200 from our realtor) before they would accept the damaged floors at the June 9, 2023, closing on the sale of our old house. At the end of a nearly 12-hour day on June 8, the on-site HUNKS Move Manager presented me with a bill that was FORTY PERCENT HIGHER THAN THE ESTIMATE we were given. When I expressed my dismay, and asked how the damages would be handled, he called the Operations Manager. After discussion, the Operations Manager set up a three-way call to include the Topeka Franchise Owner. The Operations Manager and the Franchise Owner were rude, offensive, bullying, and patronizing to me. After a heated conversation, the Franchise Owner said that I should just pay the estimated amount and that "...then we are DONE--there will be no claim for damages." He then terminated his connection. Since then, I have attempted multiple times to contact the company to claim damages. I still have had NO RESPONSE from and no contact with the local office. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE--YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

We would like to clarify that we already provided significant financial restitution at the conclusion of the job to address your concerns immediately even without acceptance of specific damage liabilities; the normal process is to take full payment for services rendered and then enter into a claims process. While we also acknowledge that your job clearly exceeded the estimated cost, the scope of what we moved was simply larger than the original inventory estimated. Please know that we are still considering your claim and are dedicated to resolving this matter fairly and quickly. As a business, we pride ourselves on taking great care of our customers, and we regret that your experience did not meet your expectations.
