      Who knew that a family business that has been around for over 150 yrs would have such a terrible reputation and customer service. We didnt that's for sure, but now we regret not checking with the BBB to find out they're NOT ACCREDITED!! I have to wonder if that's always been the case with Hutton and what their relatives that built the business and came before them would think of the way they treat their customers today. It's not something you should have to worry and check up on all the time after you lose a loved one. Our dad's been gone almost a year and no stone to mark his grave yet. We ordered it 10 months ago and last time my brother checked they hadn't even started on it. I've called 10-12 times and my brother has called as well. They NEVER call you back if you leave a message either. Ive been lied to with all kinds of excuses, told that they were working on it at the time I called, they didnt have what they needed to do the sand blasting, etc. It's been one thing after another with this place. It's sad that there are people who will take advantage of you (and your $$) at the worst times in your lives. I know my dad would be down there every day checking and demanding it get done or get his money back.

      This place is not a good place to shop at, it's been almost two years since I ordered a tombstone for my brother in December 2022 and all I keep hearing is that covid made everything get delayed and their trucks weren't coming over. Tombstone was supposed to be placed by November 2023 (11 months after I ordered it) never happened, then it was supposed to be placed by March 2024 and didn't happen, gave us another date for Memorial weekend and still didn't happen. After talking to Tyler he stated that it was going to be placed this last weekend and of course it didn't happen. Asked to send out a picture of it and he told me that he couldn't because it was already packaged in the truck ready to be delivered. This place is dishonest and takes advantage of those vulnerable ones that come in seek of some something for their decease loved ones, and I am surprised it is still open with all the bad experiences people has had with them.

      Do NOT, and I can't express this enough, do business with them. Our stone was ordered in August 2021 and was set today, December 9, 2022. I was given the runaround on multiple occasions ********************* Stone was set and it was wrong. Called and was informed one out of six children, told them not to do it that way even though there was a signed layout agreed upon by the other 5 children. I asked to speak to the owner who was the rudest person I've ever spoken to. They didn't even bother to let us know one of the siblings stopped the layout then acted as is it was our fault we just brought it to their attention. When i told him we didn't know there were changes how could we tell them sooner, he flat out said «I'm not talking to you anymore» and said he had to get back to another call. Also told me he was also an attorney. If that were true you'd think he would have known to let the person he had an agreement with know someone else stopped the layout. The worst customer service I've ever dealt with. I wouldn't let my worst enemy do business with this place. ************************************ Stay away!

      Mr. Richard ********** purchased a stone in full on December 3, 2021. In that contract he stated he wished to have his last name, him and his wife's first names, and their dates and wedding date on the stone. He specifically said to leave it simple and to include no further artwork. As we were still awaiting the stone, Mr. Richard ********** passed away on February 19, 2022. Some months later we received a call from a Mrs. ******* about adding some artwork to the stone. We followed through with her request and on August 16, 2022 the step daughter of Richard **********, a Mrs. Cyndie *******, electronically sent us a signed copy of the revised layout. Three days later the son of Richard **********, Kevin **********, came in person to our shop with his wife, and disputed with us about the new artwork on the stone. He stated that when the stone was purchased by his late father that he specifically did not want any artwork on his and his wife's stone. So Mr. Kevin ********** told us to revert to the original layout and remove the artwork. He also stated that we should not consult with Cyndie ******* on this stone. Kevin ********** also told us that he is the deed holder for Brenda and Richard **********'s plots. As deed holder of the plots and since there are no stated co-owners of the plots Kevin has full control of the right to memorialize. Since this is the case, if the children of Brenda and Richard ********** could not come to a compromise on the layout of the stone, it would leave the final decision to Kevin **********. If at any point in the future the families reconcile and wish to add further lettering or artwork to the stone we would be happy to do so at an additional cost.

      The information they provided is completely incorrect. If they have a signed contract from my father in law, not step father, they would have never agreed to changes. The children of Mr. ********** would like to see this signed contract. Also, Kevin ********** is not the deed holder of the plots. If he were, he would have been able to show documentation. Which I'm sure you asked to see, correct? Also, holding a deed does not make you an owner or give you sole authority on the right to memorialize. The cemetery is still the owner of the land. A deed simply gives you use of the plot. Again, no authority to memorialize as you put it. Kevin ********** had no more authority than any of the other siblings. He did not go through probate and handle things properly, therefore giving him less authority in the family's eyes. The rest of the family would like to know what exactly he showed you to indicate to you he was in charge of anything at all. I'm assuming there was something or anyone could simply walk into your establishment and change anyone's stone they wish. Correct? Chris ******, claiming he was an attorney, should know these things. There were no issues making changes prior to Kevin ********** using intimidation to stop them. The main issue is the way the company and owner treat their customers. We will be having the stone engraved by another, more reliable company. Again, all information in their reply is false and incorrect. Almost laughable. Please stop representing yourself as an attorney in an attempt to intimate a woman. ********************************************************* Good luck in the future.
