All animals are allowed to graze freely and in the winter are fed hay made from native grasses. They have access to mineral supplements and fresh, clean water year round to maintain good health.
Located in the heart of Southeast Kansas, Schenker Family Farms is a multi-generation working farm. They are the only family farm in the USA that ships overseas to military bases (APO's). All meat is certified Naturally Grown and USDA Organic. They are also a farm to fork CSA provider - CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. CSA allows city residents to have direct access to high quality, fresh produce grown locally by regional farmers. When becoming a member of a CSA, you are purchasing a share of vegetables from a regional farmer.

"Do not order from here. Not only did we receive our meat 4 months late, some of the packages were very old (between 1 -2yrs old) and many were poorly vacuumed sealed and freeze burned."
