    This rental agency does not hire professional carpet cleaning agencies before a new tenant moves in, but requires the tenant to front the cost before vacating at the end of the lease anyway. I have witnessed, on two separate occasions, their FRONT DESK ASSISTANT, PERSONALLY, vacuuming each premises once they've moved out. In the lease agreement, Echelon clearly states that the tenant pay costs to have the carpets cleaned once either party decides to end the lease. This is outrageous, and needs to be addressed.

    Echelon ensures that every vacant unit is thoroughly cleaned by professionals prior to the arrival of new tenants. If tenants make the necessary arrangements, as stipulated in our lease, the cleaning company provides us with a receipt. Otherwise, Echelon arranges for the cleaning to be conducted by a professional company. Digital inspections with photos are then performed for additional documentation during the move-in and move-out process.

    Based on the email address associated with the complaint and the date it was filed, it appears to concern the apartments located above Echelon's office. I have attached a receipt from the cleaning company, which confirms that the carpets were professionally cleaned on May 28, 2024. Since the unit was vacant for three months, our Leasing Agent conducted additional cleaning and vacuuming in preparation for the new tenant moving in this weekend. We take pride in our work and strive to provide the best service possible.
