  I wish I could give 0 stars. Very discriminating company. Would not provide quote without pictures and inspection of the home. I advised this is my 4th quote (they were cheaper) and no other company asked for that information. I was transferred to the Supervisor who sided with the agent.
  The crazy part is the requirement is not listed on their website for insurance applications because it’s “in the underwriting guidelines”.
  Very discriminating to POC. Seeing all the bad reviews I don’t feel bad for telling them off!

  I'm currently a 100% Total and Permanent Veteran which my homeowners insurance and taxes comes out of my monthly mortgage. I received a bill from Armed Forces Insurance stating my bill is $2,745.22 my current lender send Armed Forces Insurance amount. Now Armed Forces Insurance changed that amount after the bill stating that myself or my current lender need to send an extra $247.07 stating about a surplus charged that I was blindsided by and my current lender. They are using Armed Forces Insurance as a rip off name for rip off their Veterans whom do Insurance through them. I am highly upset about this! I served 25 years for my country and look at this Insurance name Armed Forces Insurance. You should be ashamed doing this to Veterans!!!!!!!!

  By far one of the worst insurance companies in the business. Instead of working with you on a claim, they will fight you every way and then threaten you with a non-renewal until the work you made a claim on is fixed ... out of pocket!!! Horrible service. This is not a veteran friendly company.

  Echoing the numerous other ONE-star reviews of this company with an 'A+' rating ... AFI does NOT write auto policies, per say. They act as a 'servicing agent' which means they will sell you a policy that you could get directly from the actual insurance company, i.e. Progressive, Travelers, etc. WHY you would choose to use AFI is anyone's guess. But here is one, you didn't know this. Well now you do. AFI offers you NO DISCOUNT for auto insurance - ZERO. In fact, you might actually be paying more with them than if you shopped the policy yourself. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME and AFI is completely DISENGENOUS in its marketing to active duty, their families and veterans.

  I am very disappointed by the fact that Armed Forces Insurance failed to give me options to provide insurance despite being a servicemember and their denial of providing service would dishonor the memory of their founders. At first they said I couldn't qualify because I had a lapse in home insurance for more than 30 days but after finding out that I actually had Rocket Mortgage premium home insurance, they outright denied me still. I would not recommend them to military or veterans as they refuse to help.

  I was shopping for homeowners insurance and thought Id check out this company because they advertise that they work well with the military and veterans. When I spoke to the rep, I was given a quote $800 a year less than Im currently paying. I went over the various coverages that I had for my property and she assured me that the coverages were all the same. We agreed for her to email me an actual quote. The quote I received was only $98 a year less than I am currently paying and the coverages were very much below what I currently have. This company is very deceptive in their representation.

  Wow!!! Reading AFI 's responses are extremely unprofessional and cowardice in nature. What company argues with the customer online and tries to belittle the person at the same time. I was thinking of getting this insurance but after reading AFI's responses I can see they are unethical and I would not trust them. So shameful.
