      A warning to all contractors approached by, or considering work for Paul Davis Restoration: DON'T. Their contract makes you almost powerless to take action for nonpayment, which is increasingly common for Kansas City metro contractors. In a handful of cases, liens have been filed against the homeowner, forcing them to compensate the contractors from their insurance payout. Best advice for contractors: do not conduct business for Paul Davis Restoration. If you are still considering it, have your attorney review the agreement so they can show you just how bad it is. HOMEOWNERS: there is an above-average chance that a lien will be legally filed on your home resulting from Paul Davis Restoration's non-payment to subcontractors, even after the work has been completed according to the scope and specifications.
