    I reserved hotel rooms in October for a stay the following September during the Kansas State Fair. My rooms were cancelled on July 25th because they give preference to people who have stayed with them before. They responded that they do not open the property online during the state fair and put a room block on their rooms so reservations need to be made by contacting the property. In October I was able to make my reservation with no mention of the room block. The rooms were not blocked when I made reservations and I didn't received any information about the room block until they cancelled my reservation and I had to call them to find out why. They also tried to tell me I called and cancelled the reservations. It is now too late to get another room at a different hotel during the state fair because everyone else is sold out.

    The room was absolutely disgusting and unsanitary. It had cigarette holes in the blankets and stains om the blankets. There were also cigarette holes on the carpet. Also the microwave was dirty. The room smelled nasty. I went to discuss my concerns with the front desk attendant and he proceeded to argue with me and harrassingly yell at me even as I was walking away. The man refused to offer any accommodations for the sub par room. He refused to refund the room, offered no percentage off, no upgrade, and not even clean blankets and sheets. No customer at a hotel should ever be verbally abused like that.
