    I took out a loan and bought a preowned van from mike carpino ford here in pittsburg ks. I had specific things i needed done to be willing and able to buy it and one of the conditions was they fix the brake warning light the kept coming on and going off at random times and they told me before i bought it that it would be addressed(even though now they claim they did not)! At said appointment they could not get the light to come on but it started coming back on within a week or so afterwards and i found out they was unwilling to fix it stating it was not included on my 1 month powertrain warranty only pay %10 of what it would cost to repair. In my opinion be wary of buying a vehicle from them because in my opinion ******************** i will NEVER give them business again!!!! I fixed the issue myself but that does not excuse shady business dealings

    Mr. **********, we hate to hear about your troubles with your van that you purchased a month ago from us that was 10 years old with 244,450 miles on it, I wish we could give a full bumper to bumper warranty on it but that just isn't possible, We did look the vehicle over and one of our employees drove the van for 30 minutes and never got a light to come and you never brought it in to us with the brake warning light on, We are more than happy to always look your vehicle over but if there is no light on when we have it there was nothing we could do

    I did in fact bring it back with said light on and your salesman saw it. I also presented a video and picture with the light coming on and off and i was adamant about not wanting the vehicle unless the brake issue was fixed! The issue did not present itself at the time of the service but it did within the week or so after and i consulted with your sales rep and was notified it was not on my warranty and was told they had already done a few things for me even though i stated i needed a few things fixed before i would be able or willing to buy said vehicle. I was able to get it repaired on my own but I am dissatisfied but it is what it is!
