    I tried to help a client roll over an account from TIAA and we literally gave up after about 6 months of resubmitting paperwork over and over and being told we sent in the wrong paperwork after we had spoken to the company directly on the phone to get the correct paperwork. It was amazing how intense their stonewalling is. I've been in this business for 25 years and I *** transfers all the time and there are a couple companies that are very bad about this and it seems to be spreading in the financial industry. If ones gets away with it then others will start to do it. Next it will be our banks. Be sure to read lots of reviews of companies that you in trust your money with. The companies in my experience that are showing these complaints that I run across currently are TIAA CREF, *** (VALIC) and *******************. Its all the same thing, people trying to simply get money out of their accounts in what is normally a simple process and it gets rejected over and over and is way more complicated than it should be. So far I haven't heard or seen or experienced these issues from ****** and Fidelity. I ***'t work with either of them and make no money to promote them I just discuss my experiences. I would love others to share their experiences about these companies.
