The SOCIETY FOR DIVERSITY ***** dba INSTITUTE FOR DIVERSITY CERTIFICATION is a SCAM!! Beware of all the fees they will try to get from you. The curriculum is set up so that you are guaranteed to fail the final exam, that way you have to pay the $617 reexam fee. Not to mention the *** Study Guide, practice quizzes, and *** (exam review session) are the worst! The *** Study Guide and practice quizzes are filled with spelling errors. The Exam Review Sessions (***) are nothing but some video of a man rambling about nothing coherent. Page three of the ************************************** order to study for the test "Make the time to consistently read the entire study guide. Plan to read a minimum of 1-2 chapters a week until you finish the whole book". This is exactly what I did (multiple times) and I ended up failing the test and when I reach out to some person named ******* ******** as to why the information on the final exam was different then the study guide information her response was, "The best way to prepare for the exam is watching the *** (exam review session) and not the practice quizzes". That makes absolutely NO SENSE! They will set you up to fail because that is how they make their money, off the exorbitant fees they charge. The fees are as follows: Recertification fee $50, Exam change fee $350, Retest fee $617, Regrading fee $35, Certification Lapse fee $250. If your employer has an agreement with *** and you provide true feedback, they will file a complaint against you, because they feel OFFENDED (I heard this from a friend). They are TRASH and it is a MONEY GRAB just like my friend said. The exam questions are grammatically awful they are written in "double-talk" and have nothing to do with what is in the study guide. The final exam had a question "How long do you have to wait to retake the exam if you fail?", why is that a test question? Take the eCornell Diversity course instead! In my organization there is a 30% fail rate! SCAMM***!
