  Our family had a disappointing experience with *************************** and his team at ServPro in Lafayette. We engaged him to help our 75+ widowed mother (my dad passed only two years ago) with some deep cleaning of her home. He provided an estimate and a great crew who got to work right away. Unfortunately, even with a crew who did a good job with the cleaning, there was some thief that happened while members of the crew were at my mothers home (prescription meds and some small personal items were taken). The owner, ****************, didnt take any direct responsibility for the missing items, in fact he pretty much blew it off as my moms fault, but let my mother know that he had fired the team members who he believed were involved. No other action was taken.After the work was completed, my mom paid *************** in full for the work based on the estimate/invoice he gave her. It should be a done deal at that point. Work is done. Invoice paid. However, he somehow found out that my mother had reached out to her insurance company to see if perhaps the deep cleaning might be something that her home insurance policy could help cover part of the costs. When he learned this information (we still do not know how he found this out or how that would be any of his business), he went back to my mom claiming that she owed more money b/c he knew about her insurance claim. He told her he would add some additional service items to his original estimate and resubmit to her to pay. He is threatening to make her pay the new price or he will turn her over to collections. He is still harassing her and this all took place months and months ago. This was all pretty overwhelming for my mom and we are incredibly upset and frustrated by the harassment, gaslighting and threats my mom continues to receive from this man. The company did the work, my mom paid the bill, we are asking him to be please leave my elderly mother alone.
