Dealing with a claim and our representative doesnt answer phones calls will not call back. They will only do emails and takes days to answer them have been dealing with a claim since may still havent had our car fix.Review fromAlissa S

My husband found a better rate and has been trying to cancel coverage here for over a week, when he first called he found out that we were still paying for a policy on a car we no longer owned and thought had been taken off months ago, the agent tried to get us to stay by lowering the rate but still couldn't match the company we are switching to, hung up on my husband, and now today we see a charge for over 300 dollars set to come out of our account for them, my husband calls customer service to bypass the agent and finds out the agent cancelled our cancellation, and our policy was set to renew and had been switched to a 3 month charge instead of the monthly, hence the ridiculous amount. The unprofessional attitude and failure to execute what we asked for is absurd, and coming here to leave this review and then discovering a ton of other similar reviews, I hope others read these before trying your company, because it's garbage.Review fromRyan L

Worst insurance company ever, cancelled my homeowners insurance over a 93 dollar "member fee" after never sending me a bill for such thing, not a single phone call or anything just flat out cancelled my homeowners insurance and I only found out a year later when I wanted to cancel a policy I had on a boat I don't own anymore. They let me know they did not have any policy in my name. I would never trust this company to insure anything. Good grief how bad do you have to be at your job to cancel someone's homeowners insurance over 93 dollars, all they had to do was call. Now I know why they have such terrible reviews on here. good for nothing company. They are lucky nothing happened during this period of lapse of insurance or I would *** the pants off of them. Also what a stupid catch phrase, stop knocking on wood... Better stop calling Indiana farm bureau because they are good for absolutely nothing. I would give 0 stars if possible.

They are the most rude people I have ever dealt with from the ****************** I did contact the main office in Indianapolis, but they have not responded to me. Their in person interactions with me and their voicemails have been very unprofessional. Their customer service is unacceptable. We have had them for a looong time. Approx. 8 years. We have full coverage auto insurance and an ************* insurance from them. Had to file a claim for our roof damage and they quickly denied the claim. They don't mind taking our money for years, but we're on our own with the roof repair. We got it. Found out I did not agree to this that two of my policies renew in six months, the other two yearly, I have never been aware or made anyone aware to me of the two within six months why would a person do that? Ive only had two insurance companies in my life that I insured my vehicles with it goes clear back to my father and mother and I am 70 my whole family belongs, now Im finding out that Im not getting the information that I thought was correct when calling the agent they transfer saying he is with someone waited two hours no call from his office or him only to call back and ask why this is happening to be told. Ill have to do some research on this . It may take me a while I said ** leaving for work. When will you call? Well I dont know its gonna take me a while to do research. Is there a corporate number for me to call? I asked no they wont know anything. Its a call center so I say goodbye , the person that I spoke with didnt even say goodbye didnt verify my number or who they were even talking to so disappointed when I was with ALLSTATE nobody treated us like that but the whole family switched to Farm Bureau. The first agent was there for years and years never had a problem now this is whats going on. My agent isnt available hes traveling he didnt contact his office and say hey by the way you need to contact this customer heck no he didnt. Im going to do something about this. They should not be doing this, but I wanted others to know.
