- United Caring Shelters currently operates five programs providing services to the Homeless and near homeless of the Community. They serve over 330 meals daily in our Day Shelter, provide 62 men with a safe bed each night in our Emergency Night Shelter, provide 21 women a safe bed each night in their Women's Emergency Night Shelter, 31 individuals in their Transitional Housing program, and an average of 34 persons per night in their seasonal White Flag program during freezing weather.
UCS has six programs categorized as emergency services - Day Shelter, Men's (50 beds) and Women's (20 beds) Night Shelter, and White/Red Flag (up to 50 people) - and essential solutions - Medical Respite (10 beds) and Permanent Housing (21 units). Across all programs, UCS serves approximately 3200 homeless and near-homeless people a year experiencing a variety of issues. - Business Categories
