Ordered an item only for it to arrive two weeks late. I refused and sent back the item unopened, in New condition. Despite this I was Not provided a refund. I paid to ship the item back and Sailrite refused to refund my money in full for the item I bought that arrived late. This is disgusting. I wrote sailrite about why I received a partial refund for a New unopened returned item.Sailrite never replied to me nor provided an explanation for why they stole my money. This is unprofessional and criminal.I will Never buy from Sailrite ever again. I will make additional reviews providing a factual documented account of my experience and I will inform others about my experience too. I work in the motion picture industry and I will also be sure to inform my professional colleagues about Sailrites disgusting criminal business practices. Please refer to the visual document for reference and proof of this transaction. I paid an additional shipping fee independently to ship the late, new unopened item back to your company. In any event, doing business with you was a lose, lose situation. And one that I warn others to avoid in the event that their item arrives late or not at all. Given Sailrite's "terms and conditions" they will steal your money and not compensate you for extra expenses or loss of time. Sailrite is a disgusting criminal company, with "terms and conditions" that are best avoided. There are other businesses out there that can fulfill your order, on time and not steal your money and (make mistakes) while at the same time make excuses for their poor service and deceptive "terms and conditions".Sailrite Enterprise, Inc.

We are sorry that the product was delayed by the shipper. But this is not a reason for breaking our published policy that returns do not include reimbursement for original shipping fees. For reference this is order #****** for $51.82 which includes $12.78 for **** mail service. All but the shipping was refunded promptly upon the return of the delivered goods by the customer. This order was placed on 2/10/25 and shipped on 2/11/25. Original "estimated" deliver was expected to be 8 days. The *********** had a delay and ultimate deliver was on the 23rd. Sailrite has been very responsive to this customer and responded to her on multiple emails with the same consistent answer that shipping is not refundable on returned items. We have also informed her of the locations that this policy exists on our website, including within the text of the policy check box that the customer must accept prior to being able to submit an order. This is simply a case of someone who is unhappy with a well exposed policy about the refund of shipping charges. Here is the terms and conditions of the required checkbox: ************************************************************
And here is the pertinent statement from the Returns Policy at the footer of every website page: Items must be received within 30 days of the original ship date. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs to Sailrite. Once Sailrite receives and accepts the returned item(s), the customer will receive a refund on the item(s), less delivery.
Please let us know if you need further evidence of correspondence with the customer, including early communications to help to get **** to find and deliver the delayed parcel.

It is very typical of these companies to hide behind their terms and conditions to avoid taking criticism for their poor customer service and incorrect selling practices. As if their terms and conditions exonerate them of any wrong doing in the case of returning an unused, unopened, Late items. Then justifying theft of funds via a Terms and condition checkbox. The policy was not clearly stated on the purchase page, only a checkbox and link (ie, small print) - classic scumbag company tactics, stating that only partial refunds are given in the case of returns. Again, they are very clever with their words in their attempt to justify their actions because one checked the box during the purchase process. Sailrite has also been less than impressive with their correspondence. Though they claim to have provided sufficient communication. The truth is that they did not. Nor did they provide good customer service that was satisfactory to me. Despite their stance. I have been very vocal about my experience. As someone who works in the motion picture film industry, the decision has been made to never order anything from this company again. They have terrible selling practices. Please let me know if you need further timestamped, documented evidence from the seller Sailrite, that supports my position, please do not hesitate to make a request. I would be more than happy to provide you with a timeline of communication including the early initial communication and screenshots.Obviously Sailrite has a lot of time on their hands defending their incorrect selling practices rather than taking time to improve their customer service and revising their hidden terms and conditions behind checkboxes and links.Designer

In any event, they claim that I "violated their policy". How is that the case? I sent back a New unopened, still packaged from the seller, item and they took the money and provided a partial refund. What policy did I break? I assume that I am not supposed to discuss my poor experience with Sailrite with others. That seems to be the real issue.Review fromJoan M

It works great until theres a problem. Very poor customer service. Rude employee answers the phone with snarky barks and condescending replies. Very frustrating when theres a mechanical issue with tension. Theres no one to speak to . They provide generic videos without the one on one support. There are virtually zero technicians available to fix an industrial sewing machine. I feel quite stuck with a very expensive machine that Im unable to repair or get guidance to walk through the issues. No one returns emails or calls. Its all automated responses and generic video.Sailrite Enterprise, Inc.

Hi, We are very sorry that we could not get you the service that you deserve. We are here to help but it is true we work via email with support videos. We find videos to be far more helpful than trying to detail a process over the phone. As they say, pictures say a thousand words. I have looked at the support cases and it truly looks like you are not receiving our emails. The most important one was where our head technician asked these questions that would allow us to gain some insight:
"Hello ****,
Thank you for reaching out to us. To best help we would like to ask if you send photos for us to review. Photos of the stitching and the machine threaded, showing the issue as described will be helpful. Upon receipt, we will be better able to assess the situation and will contact you back with further instructions."
This response to your initial email was sent October 1st at 3:36PM. Is it possible that we did not get your return reply? Could you please try to send it again so we can help? Right now the case is just sitting open waiting for answers to our service questions. We are certainly happy to help but we need a starting point to provide the most relevant support. Our guess is that this is something very simple. But simple issues with tension can be hard to locate. So we will always start with things like threading and photos of various things.
I have attached myself to the case email so that I can monitor it and the information that you supply. We will get this solved for you!

- The stitch length thingy is great for setting and maintaining uniform stitch length. - The heavy balance wheel is great for very slow manual sewing. I have successfully repaired a sleeve for my jib where the machine sewed through 4 layers of Sunbrella and 2 layers of webbing. All of it old material so it was stiff. The machine simply walked over it all laying down a perfect stitch, forward and backward.Review fromJohn L

The Worker B upgrade adds significant control to my LSZ-1 Ultrafeed. I'm looking forward to using it for my first sailmaking project. I am very pleased with the detailed instructional videos and excellent customer service provided by ****************. There is no comparable company when it comes to sewing products.Review fromBob F

Super great sewing machine! Very versatile. Has good low end control and can easily see through most tougher fabrics. The electronic unit that you plug the pedal and power supply into is a little floppy and feels slightly unstable but other than that I have no complaints!Review fromDiane H

I purchased the Sailrite Deluxe Fabricator industrial sewing machine and LOVE it. It has many unique and interesting features and is powerful. I'm mainly using it for canvas products like our houseboat canvas repair and new rear deck enclosure, porch canvases for our deck system at our homestead/mini-farm, purses, bags, etc. I noticed a few people thinking this machine is a bit pricey. If you start shopping around for any sewing machine worth it's own weight, you'll find that this is a bargain. Payback on this machine for any vertical canvas work, like I mentioned above is about 1 month. It's quite expensive for new houseboat (yacht) canvases, as BOAT means, "Bring on Another Thousand." After I complete all the vertical canvas work, I have some new upholstery covers for outdoor furniture, some ********* deck furniture canvas-work; rolling lounge hammock chairs, a deck enclosure for winter, golf cart enclosure for winter, and probably another for the tractor to keep off the summer pests in the field. With this industrial sewing machine, creativity is only limited by your imagination! I even have some rugs in the works. Not only is the Sailrite Fabricator sewing machine wonderful, Sailrite has some of the BEST videos that I've ever seen. Most are boat and upholstery-related. When I finish my golf-cart and tractor enclosures, I'm going to send them some pictures. Hopefully it will inspire other people to get adventurous with canvas enclosure projects.Sailrite Enterprise, Inc.

The fabric is exactly what I wanted ~ that being said, I did order a sample before jumping in and purchasing 5 yards !!!! It was a relatively quick process from ordering to receiving. Can't wait to get the fabric to our upholsterer! I love fabric and the way a few yards of fabric can change ************** of a room. I will definitely purchase again from Sailrite!
