  We purchased 7 double hung windows classic open, 2 double hung side to side open and a sliding glass door. What an absolutely horrible idea to use this company. The sliding glass door has been replaced and they paid for the balance as the door is absolutely horrible and leaks to this day, but they voided out my warranty so I'm stuck with it. The windows leak! We just had to take off the front of our house due to black mold due to poorly made and installed windows. We had a certified contractor come look at them and he told us we needed to contact the company and have them come out look at these issues. So much moisture is getting in there is mold growing on the locks. Our house is freezing thanks to horrible windows. Not to mention the foul mouth installation teams they employ, the injuries caused to my toddler when they installed the windows due to the team lead getting frustrated and not looking when he was opening doors. The cigarette button tossed in my yard were a free gift too. Now I get to have these people back out to my house at some point to hopefully fix their shotty work. So glad we spent thousands of dollars to a company ran by idiots that try and make their glue and foil windows live up to the promises they feed you and poor quality products.

  So window world was out yesterday to replace my bad windows. The installer worked quickly, cleaning up after him and made sure my husband was happy before leaving. For that I am happy. Now the field supervisor that came out originally rubbed me the wrong way. With my review we were contacted by window world and they offered to come out. We set that up and they arrive. They immediately see the issue and let us know that the seals have failed. Then they proceed to blame us. We'll, they blame the moisture in our house. While my husband and thwfield supervisor were lookat the two in our room that were now growing BLACK MOLD the other guy pulled a moisture reader. It came in at 34% moisture and they like it at 30 or lower. Well, we are on a crawl and in a high water table so 34% is actually rather good. Then they said they would replace them, fix the horrible sliding door and some trim around that door. Then he said he was only doing this for us once. Excuse me? Lifetime warranty is what we have on these. 3 of windows are perfect and 4 are bad? Maybe your company just made a faulty product? Technically 5 windows are fine and 4 were bad. Let's blame the customer and then intimidate them with threats of only ever doing this once. I don't pull punches and I am not going to take any person at face value when I have paperwork that explains my lifetime warranty. I had an attorney look over this lifetime warranty. His threat or whatever it was hold no water. Do not let these people buffalo you. Seek legal advice! I'm so glad I did! Then he showed up for like 10 minutes yesterday said he was going to go get something and never returned! So much to being there while this was done like he said he would. He gave his word! Now I did reschedule as my husband was out of town, but when the girl called back, she said she spoke this gentleman and he and another guy would be here. He also tries to get a better review by asking my husband if we went out to eat. He said he was mailing us a gift card to go out. I wish I had the disposable income to gut all these windows out of my house and go with another company, but here I am stuck with a company who can't take responsibility for faulty products and threatens its paying customers. I'd like to add that I licensed construction company employee came out so I could address the moisture issue that they led me to believe we had. Not accurate. The little 4% over what they like doesn't cause the issue as bad as we had. Ice frozen on the inside of my windows halfway up. Wind blowing in so strong we heard it and it blew out lighters. Leaking down my inner walls. The windows are replaced and the best part of this run in with this company, was the installer. I'm sure this is not the review he was hoping for and I doubt I will see that gift card for dinner, but fingers crossed these windows are better.

  Original installation started late into the day, finishing way after dark at 10pm. Installers were mostly non English speaking, which did not help with communication. Major mess-ups with the sliders, which caused a return for repairs. The fella that returned to make the repairs was very good. Didn't leave until we were satisfied with his work, unlike the original installers.

  The 1st 2 windows were good. The sliding door has been a nightmare . I’ve asked to get a quote on more windows before winter and they never get back to me. Guess I’ll make some other calls .

  My glass slider looks really nice and it is really good quality. It was installed well and slides well. I am very happy with my purchase and the Window World warranty is amazing. I would highly recommend them.
