      Wish there was a zero star choice. I purchased my new top from ******* ****. I have used Midwest Fabrications for two jobs the first one took forever to complete, and I understand that in today’s world things are delayed but the customer service was terrible no communication unless I initiated it and many promises with no follow up or results, several months past, we finally did get our backsplash which turned out nice. Recently I thought I would try Wayne and his crew again on a small top for my boat. Wayne promised to complete it in a few days, when I called him back the following week, he was very indifferent about when the top could be completed, so I waited patiently two more weeks and when I called, his secretary informed me that Wayne went on vacation and I was not the only customer who was upset, since there were some customers as far back as February with money down who were also very unhappy. After hearing this I canceled the order picked up my faucet, sink and template. Fifteen minutes later I went directly over to the ******* **** which is under new ownership, they were great and had the new countertop done the same day for a similar price and the top far exceeded what Midwest Fabricators had to offer. Wayne now has the audacity to charge me $100 for a template which one of his employees allowed me to pick up. Wayne jacked me around, wasted my time, avoided communicating, and did not keep his word! He will get his $100 it is so sad that he must add insult to injury after I had such a bad experience. Wayne was bitter and also very quick to judge, once he lost my business, texting nasty words like liar and thief, but not one word of apology for his misdeeds! Based on my experience Wayne promises a lot when he is initially obtaining your business and then becomes hard to reach and is not in any way proactive at keeping customers informed. I do not recommend Wayne, or Midwest Fabricators. Caveat Emptor!
