Hi, I use paylocity as an administrator. it is a so-so system. full of bugs and nuances that'll drive anyone mad. it is user friendly but not intuitive. to many back ground windows linger about to be able to find taxes or time off requests easily. the forgot password link refuses to send a verify code to my email or my phone lately. so i can only open the program at work. I also need this at home to be efficient. Finally, customer service is so far behind AI auto systems. NO IMMEDIATE PROBLEM CAN BE FIXED IN LESS THAN AN HOUR. I should not have to contact my company admin to solve a simple forgotten password.Paylocity Corporation

The only pro of Paylocity is that its cheap but you definitely get what you pay for. The system is extremely not user-friendly, with multiple modules that dont communicate with each other, forcing you to manually enter the same employee information repeatedly. Its frustrating, inefficient, and a huge waste of time.On top of that, customer service is useless. Expect unhelpful responses. If you need a reliable, efficient payroll/HR system, look elsewhere. This one is more trouble than its worth.Paylocity Corporation

No customer service. Can not speak to a real person. Prompt says they can only talk to the employer not the employee. Been waiting on a paper check. ***** this company at all costsPaylocity Corporation

Hello *********, I am sorry to hear of the situation you are currently experiencing. Unfortunately, the information/response that you received is correct. The account managers can only work with the approved contacts on an account per the security protocol put in place to protect internal and external contacts. You can either reach out directly to the company admins of your company, or if you want to provide the company name you work for; and I will reach out to the necessary contacts to assist.Thank you.Review fromMatthew T

I am the *** of a $100m revenue company that employs about 400 people. I would avoid Paylocity at all costs. Their customer service is non existent and when issues arise running payroll, noone answers the phone or responds to email. The absolute worst decision we ever made was trusting Paylocity to handle payroll related taxes. They have no idea what they are doing and every state we operate in has sent notices. When the notices come, Paylocitys tax department will not help or take responsibility for their mistakes. I cannot begin to quantify the level of liability Paylocity has created for our company. If you want to stay in business and maintain good standing with your employees and taxing authorities, look elsewhere.Paylocity Corporation

Disgusting company. If your employer uses Paylocity be sure to get your W2 mailed to you. Do NOTHING electronically, especially if youre in Healthcare. Companies change and people get fired and paylocity will refuse to make a way for you to access your information. Their customer service agents will hang up on you in your face and refuse to give you options. The agents will act like theyre helping you just to tell you you youre not in their contact list. So why have a call center thats widely accessible to people that youre not allowed to even talk to you? lol what a joke of a company and the agents, rude and arrogantPaylocity Corporation

Hello, Sorry to hear the kind of experience you have had but the reason the agents don't talk to employees directly is for security reasons. All calls that come in must be worked on with the approved contact list for all companies to help protect the security of such personal and financial information for their companies and employees. If, you are still in need of your W2, please feel free to respond back with your company name and employee Id; and I will reach out to your company's approved contact and ask they assist you. The other thing you can do is call your company admin team directly and request; they will have access to pull and provide to you.Thank you.Review fromShelby H

If I could give any word of advice to anyone is would be to NOT go with this company for your HRIS system. They have the worst customer service ever. Takes weeks to get a response that usually doesn't help and push everything back on the customer. Their billing is super untransparent. Asking for a bill breakdown is not allowed, just saying don't worry your saving money..... Real assuring... If your company NEVER changes, might be an okay company... But seriously know there is better companies out there! They change things without your knowledge and file things incorrectly with the states.Paylocity Corporation

Weve been with Paylocity for nearly 10 years, and for much of that time, Ive been satisfied. However, the more features weve added, the worse the service has become. A recent issue with the "Performance" module highlights this. While writing reviews, I noticed that data entered into the system wasnt saving, despite a confirmation message saying it had been successfully saved. Logging out and back in showed all the information was gone, whether typed directly or copied and pasted.I reported the issue and had a meeting with my account **** who recorded the session and confirmed the problem. She said shed submit the recording to support and keep me updated. Weeks passed with no updates. When I followed up, I was told the ticket had been closed because support didnt see the issue. I reminded the account manager that the problem was clear in the video, and she resubmitted the ticket on 10/***** 10/31, I still hadnt heard back, so I followed up again. I was told the ticket was closed because the video submitted was too long. I was asked to take and submit a new videoa frustrating request, given that they already had a recording clearly showing the issue. I was told I needed to be helpful and do my part, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. My emails have gone ignored, and Ive received no updates or credit for a service that isnt functioning *********** a final plea, I emailed both my account manager and her manager yesterday, but *** received zero response. Telling customers that this is a known issue isnt acceptable, nor is dismissing their concerns or frustrations. Paylocitys lack of follow-through and poor communication have been deeply disappointing. Zero stars, two thumbs downI would not recommend this service in its current state.Paylocity Corporation

STAY AWAY- ******* services are subpar at best. The *** program is probably the worst. If they deem something not appropriate that is *** approved, they will lock up your cards for no reason if they deem it not necessary purchase. This company needs to realize that they are not in control of people's finances and if something is *** approved, they need to honor that without locking up people's accounts. I purchased something through the *** cards with them, they locked it. Now they are getting away with 1000+ dollars of my money that comes out from my paycheck. They have nothing but keyboard warriors that get to delegate how you spend your own money on medical. RIDICULOUSPaylocity Corporation

It's not worth it. The more I learn about Paylocity the less I like it. There are too many ways to make updates in the system. Which is problematic because they don't talk to each other - so they all need to be updated every time a change has to be made. Our designated *** is so rude and condescending. I hate trying to work with him. Requesting things like late filing fees be looked into is a fiasco. I should not have to beg you to follow up with the agency just because 'you initially filed the information in the quarterly ***orts.' We got late filing fees. Something is wrong. Do your job. There are also severe system limitations. My current favorite involves a lock-in letter we recently received from the ***. In the next few pay periods, our company will be required to change from the employee's desired withholding to what the *** is requiring. However, there is nothing we can do to prevent the employee from changing their withholdings back. And we would be liable if that happens and the change is not caught. This a concerning oversight.I'm tired of micro-managing the payroll company that should be making my job easier.Paylocity Corporation
