Utilized the designer, Soleil, who came to my home first then we went to the store to choose a rug and furniture. She was awesome! So very helpful and really patient. I ended up with the perfect carpet and sofa. *** did an awesome job getting everything ordered and explained various options including coverage and a rug mat. Both Soleil and *** were very service oriented but not pushy. Both wanted to ensure I got what I needed and loved my choices - which I do. The bonus were the discounts for Memorial Day! I saved a bundle.Highly recommend the service and quality of the merchandise.Darvin Furniture & Mattress

**** in to purchase a lift recliner. I found the perfect one. Since my credit report is locked, I opted to use a credit card. I was asked on two different occasions what credit card would I be using (when the order was being written up and again during the purchase) and I handed the credit card to the representative. I was never asked the question will I be using a **** or **********, nor did anyone say, we dont need to handle your credit card. During the purchase the card was given back to me to be place in the machine to make the purchase. That night I received a fraud alert from the bank and several emails about a purchase from ************** good in ***********, IN that my order was ready for pick up. I was able to cancel the credit card and the order from Dicks. The following day, I went to Darvin to discuss the ordeal and a manager told me that she can assure me it didnt happen. How could she assure me? I suppose it was just coincidental. She then asked me did this happen while I was making the purchase at Darvin, and I told her the store was closed when it happened and pulled up the emails. I was not going to continue to argue a point about who handled my credit card. I merely canceled the purchase. While I liked the chair, I will purchase a chair somewhere inquiries about claims into compromised credit cards are taken seriously and not merely dismissed.Darvin Furniture & Mattress

I do apologize about your compromised credit card. Darvin maintains a high security system and verification process within the store. Our terminals are under video surveillance within the store. Darvin management staff was notified through office staff when you returned to the store to discuss this matter. Video security was reviewed, and your card was verified in our standard procedures. Our staff like many other stores ask to view the card to verify the name on the card is the same name as the state issued ID and it also matches the name on your order. These details are compared and confirmed when using a credit card and also during finance transactions. This security measure is in place and our management has confirmed your card was used only for this confirmation. Security footage shows you handled your card with the credit card terminal and no numbers were written or scanned. Many people experience credit card theft and it can occur at any time. Order From Darvin Furniture was delayed its delivery due to unavailability , but upon its arivial, the delivery personnel were timely and couteous. They completed the set up quickly and removed all wrapping. Darvin is a lovely store and my sales person was pleasant and informative. Good job Darvin.
