I have extremely limited hand function. I ordered the Monster lantern and was very happy to find that not only does it put out exceptional light, but I could turn it on and off so easily. The stated customer service policy sounded too good to be true. But the staff and the owner proved it is true. They assisted me to get my free Halo 150. It is also very easy to turn on and off and puts out exceptional light. So I ordered 2 more Halos and got a 3rd one free. The owner included some free batteries, and sent a picture of his late father who inspired him to always treat everyone with respect, courtesy and exceptional gratitude. This business really does that.

I own just about every one of their products and have been a fan since they only had one or two. Camping lights, lanterns, many flashlights, batteries, chargers, they're all great quality and I've owned them for years. They're also seriously community-minded people. Always look forward to their new products.

****** ****** wrote two books about Quality (Zen and Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, and ****), yet struggled to yield a succinct definition. The problem with Quality is that you cannot separate the idea from something of Quality. For example, when you open the box of a new Intervine product, even before you hold it, you see Quality everywhere. And when you use that product, the Quality just…well, it just shines. Pirsig was able to relate something we all know and experience for ourselves, hopefully every day: care. When you care about what you do, even strangers who don’t know you from a load of coal can see that you cared about your work and your product. I’ve never met Mr. *******, but if I ever do, I don’t think he will surprise me. Mr. ******* has never met me, but he cares about me (and you). I am now the proud owner of Guardian 1300XL tactical flashlight (purchased years ago), a Sentinel 2.0 (purchased last month), and a brand new Monster Camping Lantern (arrived yesterday). Don’t tell my family and friends, but they are all getting Intervine gifts for Christmas next year. There is just one thing I’d like Intervine to improve: make this the instructions for inserting batteries: 1. The first inch of the Monster Lantern is the battery cover. The tolerances are so tight there that you should warm up the lantern body for a few minutes before you twist the cover off. A heating pad works well, as does a few minutes in the sun (assuming it’s shining). 2. When you twist off the battery cover, hold the body of the lantern, not the top; if you hold the top, it, too, will twist, but this can interfere with the lamp when you turn it on. 3. Two batteries will protrude from the base. Make sure those batteries show their bottoms. Thanks, Intervine. May your tribe increase. ******* ******* *******, OR
