      We had a good buying experience with our salespeople, ******. He was patient and knowledgeable about the products. No pressure selling. Unfortunately, the product we wanted was not available in several choices. But thats not his fault. We settled on a carpet we liked, and signed the contract. ****** emailed it to us and then we noticed after he left, that we were being charged an upsell for an extended service plan ($820), and he never mentioned that we were being charged for it. He did say everything is included in the price many times. We would have appreciated being asked if we wanted to add on the cost of the ESP, which we would have declined. So I will be calling tomorrow and canceling the ESP from our contract. However, after reading many many reviews on Empire, Im hopeful that our install goes well. Seems like there are a lot of people that are unhappy with the installation teams and jobs done. We have worked with Empire once before years ago, and were satisfied with the job done, so were leaning on that and going ahead with the job. Im expecting it to be as good or better, so I hope they send their A team. We expect to to go well!

      We have been trying to contact Empire floors for the past seven months or more. We had the entire first floor in a one-story house installed with 2 bathrooms on March 13, 2024, for $12,000 and the warranty. The floors buckling and puffing up in the middle of our entryway and around our kitchen island and down the hallway and fireplace. The large sections of the floor are bubbled up and you must step on them to make it go down to avoid tripping, bubble repaired. August 9, 2024, we sent them pictures of the floor still shifting and moving in the same area's They replied on August 10. They came to inspect August 16. 2024. Finally, the first part of March 2025, the representative name Al, contacted us from the August inspection. they sent someone, who came to the home looked at the floors. He made an appointment to fix the floors. Appointment was set for March 25,2025.Tuesday March 25, 2025, at 3:49 PM this is ****** on Indian mound Rd. we had an appointment today for your installers to come and fix the floor no one showed up. March 28th 8:57 AM this is ****** again, I just tried to call you. Your voice mail is full so I cannot leave a message again. We had an appointment for March 25th which was Tuesday no one called, no one showed up, so I guess I will try to find somebody else to talk to. We received a call; Wednesday April 2nd apologies I was out of the office I can reschedule. No, I put a call into customer service. I do not like the way this process is going. I was told that someone was going to call me about this situation. We have contacted Empire several times a month and got the same answers and no one returns our calls.       Elderly be aware. Empire Today was trying to scam us!I would have given them a 0 if that was an option.Prior to our appointment on May 15, 2025 we received a call reminding us of our appointment and the young lady asked if all the decision makers were going to be there? I felt like if we were going to buy a timeshare. On May 15, 2025 the sales person ***** was showing us the product after a lengthy getting to know each other conversation. This was a little bit annoying. We were looking to add *** (Luxury Vinyl Plank) to our manufactured home. ***** was pushing their 45% laminate sale but we liked the *** better plus the laminate is of lower quality. We had already been to two other flooring companies and obtained pricing and signed the contract with Empire because of their service plan. We scheduled for installation on Saturday May 17, 2025.On Friday May 16, 1025, I get a call from ***** stating that the manufacturer of the *** is recommending NOT to install the *** on our manufactured home. And he again tried to push the laminate for the same price. I did my research and *** is one of the flooring that it is recommended to install in manufactured homes. I told him that we signed a contract for *** and I did NOT like him switching the contract to a cheaper product for the same price. We decided to cancel the contract because Empire was very cheesy and I feel that they were trying to take advantage of an elderly and middle aged females by changing the contract without our consent.I would not recommend this company to anyone.Shame on you Empire!

      I had a carpet project at my home in ********* and contacted Empire Today for the job. They initially sent an agent to take measurements, but the agent missed an area about the size of a staircase.Before finalizing the deal, I called their customer service to report that an area about the size of a staircase had been missed during the initial measurements. I explained that I wanted it included to avoid having a mismatched carpet. The agent assured me it won't be a problem and said they would take care of it, especially since it was just a small piece of carpet that needed to be added. The carpet was installed on May 20, 2025. When we inspected the work, we noticed that the exact area I have previously raised concerns about was still not done. I called the install directly, but he brushed me off. I then contacted Empire Today's customer service, and they asked me to send a photo of the unfinished section. On May 20, 2025, I received a call from them stating they couldn't complete the job because it would cost them $400. It's clear that this company only cares about getting paid, with little regard for customer satisfaction. I paid a total of $3,732.22 to have carpet installed in three bedrooms and one living room. Before they even scheduled the appointment, I was required to make an initial payment of $1,866.11. Then, on the day of installation, I had to pay the remaining balance of $1,866.11 before they even began the work. This is by far the worst company I've ever dealt with. In hindsight, I believe I would have been better off going with ****** or **********.

      I deeply regret choosing Empire Today for my flooring installation. Our experience has been a nightmare. We had floors installed in November 2024, and as of May 2025, the issues remain unresolved. Communication has been a constant struggle. Despite sending photos of damages, technicians show up without enough materials, wasting our time. Weve missed work repeatedly for repairs that never get completed.Their claim of professional installers is misleading. Subcontractors arrived looking unprofessional, left walls stained with concrete, and made a mess. The master bathroom floor, replaced once, failed again within a month. Even dealing with their legal contact led to empty promises and false claims of us refusing service.They have no respect for schedules, arriving late and attempting to work until midnight without notice. Our initial installation stretched until 10:00 p.m. for two nights, and the final visit was another wasted day because the technician refused to work without further approval, event though this repair was scheduled two weeks prior and with the list and approvals of what needed to be replaced. Empire Todays poor service, terrible communication, and unprofessional crews make them a company I cannot recommend.

      I had JN for flooring consultation from Empire- today for carpet change. He was puntual,very helpful,courteous,knowledgeable for his work and explained in the difference between carpets with large selections of samples. It made me easier to make decision for my needs. Appreciated his help. Carpets will be installing in a week and I am going to review again after installing completed.
