    We contracted with Chawla & Assoc for our personal and small business taxes for tax year 2022. We provided them with our tax filing information in Feb 2023 for the business and Mar 2023 for the personal. It is now Jun 1st 2023 and we have received neither from this business. Reader, they completely failed to file on time on our behalf, and did not even request our permission to delay our filing. Simply no communication at all! I had to call and call to finally get in touch with the owner who took zero accountability for this mistake - somehow, he is the victim here! Since tax day has passed, they have ignore our weekly calls - surprise surprise, the owner's voicemail box is full so you can't even leave a message - and provide non-answers to our emails after days and days of delays. We have heard every excuse under the sun as to why they cannot complete our taxes in a timely manner. I honestly cannot believe that a business which broadcasts its integrity so loudly could act in such a dishonest and malicious way. Please know that if you contract with this business, you may receive this same treatment: gladly take your business, prioritize none of it, ghost you when you request updates and then become frustrated and demand answers. I expect they will try to charge us in full for this "service" once they finally get around to completing our 2022 taxes. I will never work with this business again, and I must warn others of my experience to prevent this from happening to others. Engage with this business at your own risk.
