    I have taken the Journal Gazette for over 40 years and in my youth I was a paper carrier. My complaint: For months, I frequently fail to receive the paper. When I call, sometimes I receive the paper later in the day. A few months ago, the carrier quit and for about a month I usually received the paper only if I called. The latest: We were going to be gone for a month, and after being unsuccessful in requesting on line for a vacation hold (the website crashed), I called and was told I would receive a credit for the time we were not receiving the paper. I then heard from a neighbor that the papers were still being delivered. I called the ** and was told they had no record of my prior call and because I was now requesting a hold of less than 30 days, no credit was available. My earlier request was made in excess of 30 days. Upon returning home today, when the delivery was supposed to restart, no paper. I called and was told no credit would be granted (missed the 30 days) and the carrier had quit which was why I received no paper today. When I asked how likely it was that I would receive a paper tomorrow, the person on the call did not answer. When I asked if I could talk to a supervisor, I was told "no one is available". She did say she would "put in a request" that I receive a credit.The service from the ** is abysmal.
