    I bought a 2022 ***** CRV in April 2024 in Matteson, I live in ********, 100 miles away. In July 2024, I experienced my first flat tire on a Sunday morning in downtown ********. When I started to change the tire, I found that the lug nut key was missing. Thus, I had to get my car towed to my house.Turns out that I needed to tow the vehicle to the ******** area ***** dealer to resolve the lug nut key. The next day, Monday, I contacted Gerald about the situation and was told by Gerald general manager *************************** that he would pay for a whole new set of lug nuts - $70.69. I had him pay for the tow to the local dealer over the phone to the tow company in which he did. In the process of the tow (getting vehicle on flatbed) the tire was ruined. I did NOT ask Gerald to pay for that (but I should have) - that cost me $120.I emailed another general manage ********************* the $70.69 invoice on August 6, 2024.So, I just want ****** or Manar to follow up on their promise.Currently, I'm trying to contact someone from the Gerald family.

    Our apologies to *************, the problem should have never occurred in the first place. Yes, the check was cut on 8/19/24 (I have a copy of the check) and mailed to his home address on file in ********. Should ************* not receive for any reason, he is welcome to reach out to **********. Again, we apologize for his frustrations!

    I had been working with the salesperson at Gerald to purchase a 1794 Toyota Tundra. I was told no deposit was needed. The salesperson was able to locate the accessories I was requesting on Friday, May 26th. I was told to come in the next morning (May 27, 2023) at 9:30 to complete paperwork and truck with installed accessories would be ready the following week. I arrived at the dealership at 9:20 ready to complete paperwork and was told by the salesperson the Tundra had been sold. The Tundra was on the lot. He explained a deposit was made on the truck on Friday, May 26th. I inquired why he refused to take my $10,000 deposit a week earlier. He said that a deposit couldn't be taken. There was no explanation. This is how you are treated as an African American female at Gerald.

    We apologized to ****************** for the situation and communication during her negotiations on this truck. ****** (sales manager) reached out to her the next day and spoke to her for about 45 minutes about the situation, and we have been able to secure the exact truck that ****************** wants; and it will be in shortly. She is happy with the result of the conversation and the outcome of the situation.
