      A little over a year ago I had JB&D replace my windows and go from aluminum siding to vinyl siding. I was very impressed initially but a year into my "lifetime warranty" I still have things that are not completely finished. My siding was put on in the winter and it was snowing that day. Several of the caps that go over the shutter screws were broken and here I am a year later and the broken ones have still not been replaced. There was a corner of siding that needed repaired, they sent a repairman who did a worse job than what was originally there. I have multiple text messages w/ the salesman and every time I turn around it's another excuse. I've been told materials would be in then the date comes and nothing. Reach out again, get told he is going to have a crew from ****** come to do the work because he doesn't have anyone to send for my repairs. Time passes and he hasn't gotten a chance to talk to them to see what their schedule is. Time passes again, 2 voicemails left for the ********* office. No call back. No word, no calls from the office to tell me when someone would be here. Recently I was at my end, yet backed off because I was informed there were some family things going on. No word, then I see he is off to vacation so I send another message. This time I get told I will hear from him in 2 weeks because we will have a break in weather and he will be able to get someone here. 2 weeks was yesterday and no word. I constantly see "You've got a friend in the business" on posts of recent jobs done by JB&D and their affiliations. Yeah, I thought I had a friend in the business but lesson learned - don't do business with friends!!! The funny thing is, from the very 1st meeting I told him how high of a priority communication is with me. I love my home and hope someday JB&D follows through and it can finally be considered completed.
