  Orthodontic experts in Algonquin staff and managers are very unprofessional. I had 2 of my kids treatment done at this location and I had nothing but frustration and poor communication. I have requested to speak to the clinic manager **** that signed me up first time and promised to deliver great experience but each time I wanted to speak with her she refused to meet with me. Last visit I waited 20 min in the office and she didnot come out to speak with me. I asked her staff to let her know that I need to speak with her regarding an issue never heard from her. I have even sent her an email no response as of today. I dont know how to handle this situation.

  I Was a patient at the clinic on Pilsen ,and at first I didn't have any complaints when I first started my treatment plan however , before my braces were removed I was suggested to get a fixed retained which was $175 . my braces were removed two months later I was sent home with a retainer which were part of the treatment plan kit one is free . a week after getting my braces removed my fixed wire retainer was lifting and i called in the office letting them know my situation . I was told I can come in for an appointment and replacement for free . I tried getting a sooner appointment no openings were available until the week after so I chose the appointment for the next following week. by the time it was time for my next appointment my retainer had already came out . I assumed when my braces were removed some of the glue was also removed from the fixed retainer . when I got to the clinic the receptionist told me it was a $50 charge just to see the dentist when I am already an established patient and additional to that I had to pay $ 400 just for the fixed retainer , because it was pass 45 days . I implied to her I still had the fixed wire with my retainers and was told by a receptionist **** this would be free of charge . the receptionist in the clinic did not reason with me . she continuously implied i had to pay $450 or no solution would be resolved . I left the clinic called later and the representative **** apologized about the situation , documented what I told her , and contacted the manager . she told me I would get a call back . I've contacted the office twice . I have yet been able to reach a manager this is a very unprofessional place of business . how can I get this resolved ?

  They shamed my children. Lied claiming the replacement retainer didn't fit because my child did not wear the original which was not true. They spoke over **, never letting us tell our point of view. They were not clear with charges for my other child's braces. Highly unprofessional. Aggressive toward my son who suffers from anxiety.

  Worst office. Daughters braces were placed without proper care. Even though xrays were done, dentist placed braces without knowing baby tooth hadnt been removed. I had to question everything through front desk because they refused to let parents back with patients. Paid over half of treatment and they dismissed my child from their care because I questioned everything and refused to continue paying for inadequate care. A parents job is to advocate for child and they didnt want any interference. Theyre Great to demand their money but parent cant demand adequate care.

  This place has a problem with their office managers being competent. They dont understand how to apply the insurance for braces benefits because they come back after you asking for more money and the retainers are cheaply made because they break easily after a few months only to tell you to replace them for another almost $400 charge. Dont give them your buisness they are not for the health of a child smile they are in this for the money.
