    I have AAA and my vehicle was being towed thru Big Tows Towing which is contracted thru AAA. I have been a member with AAA since 2018 and last year I renewed my membership, at least that's what I thought. The day my vehicle was towed February 3rd about 8:16 am. I was informed at 8:46 I had a fee of $135. I was ****** because I had them for so long & never had to pay a fee & on top of that why would these idiots tow my vehicle without informing before towing my vehicle of the fee. I was informed by the driver I had a basic membership which couldn't be and I as I downloaded the App, I looked and it was a basic membership. Anyway when I spoke with a supervisor at AAA she informed me when I paid to renew my membership it didn't renew as the prior one, it was renewed as a new membership. If I knew there was a fee I wouldn't have allowed anyone to tow my vehicle. So a lot of back & forth going on between me, the towing company, and AAA. I spoke with a supervisor at AAA and reported this company because they failed to inform me that I had a fee before towing the vehicle. My vehicle was near the drop off site when the manager (******) called me to tell me he's calling to collect the fee and informed AAA I agreed to pay the fee when I wasn't aware until he called. That's what AAA informed me when I spoke with them. ***** threatening to inbound my vehicle for their stupid mistake. I went off & gave his **** some words of wisdom. The company lied saying I agree to pay the fee when I never agreed to it. This company Big Tows Towing visibly showed poor communication, unprofessionalism, poor management. How is it that this company is still in business? I informed AAA to never ever allow this company to come into contact with my vehicle or any assistance in the future. The experience was terrible and companies like this will likely get their drivers in bad situations for poor communication.
