    I recently used Interprenets services for an interpreter to assist my client in a USCIS asylum interview. Unfortunately, the experience was well below the standards expected for such an important service.The booking was confirmed in advance, and I sent crucial preparation documents to Interprenet ahead of time so the interpreter would be well-prepared. Additionally, I informed Interprenet about poor cell reception at the interview location and requested the interpreter meet my client at the building entrance.Despite these arrangements, the contracted interpreter reportedly didnt receive any preparation materials or my clients contact information, and entered the office without contacting my client. This miscommunication left the interpreter with only a few minutes to glance over materials before the actual interview.During the interview, my client reported several issues with the interpretation. Key terms central to the case were mistranslated or left undefined, affecting the clarity and meaning of my clients statements.For example, terms were either omitted or inaccurately translated, which altered their context significantly. My client also noted that the interpreter frequently paused, causing interruptions and confusion for both my client and the interviewing officer.On occasion, the interpreter interrupted my client to provide his OWN interpretation of the officers questions. But it actually diverged from my clients actual words.Afterward, I contacted Interprenet to address these concerns. Despite repeated follow-ups, radio silence followed. Then the company provided only a brief response, stating they were conducting an internal review.The lack of preparation and quality in this service was highly distressing for my client. For anyone considering Interprenet for crucial interpreter services, I recommend carefully evaluating alternative options.
