I DO NOT recommend renting from Zindar property management. I really don’t have anything positive to say about them. My husband and I lived in our rental home for 5 years (2019-2024) and have had issues with them since the beginning. They are rude, they don't complete maintenance in a timely manner or to satisfactory standards, and they make excuses to not complete maintenance any chance they get. They rushed through the renovations before we moved in, and that was clear. When we moved in there were still things unfinished and when we filled out their “property condition checklist” like they told us to, they called us "nitpicky". There were several things that never got fixed in the 5 years we lived there including: the locking mechanism on the sliding glass door had been broken off and was very hard to use. In the lease contract it stated that a pest control spray would be done by the property management before tenants moved in, and that was never done either. We also had a tree fall during a bad storm once and knocked down a power line. We called zindar and put in a maintenance request the day it happened, and they never fixed it by the time we moved out 5 months later. The move out process wasn’t any different. They charged us for carpet cleaning for 5 rooms when there’s only 3 bedrooms and a living room with carpet (they count the hallway as a room) plus 2.1 hours of labor totaling $298 for carpet cleaning. So don’t expect to get your whole security deposit back when you move out and don’t expect to get your security deposit refund back in a timely manner either. We were told they have 30 days to do the inspection and issue the refund. They used that entire 30 days and issued the refund the last day of the month. 41 days after moving out we finally got our deposit. I can’t say it enough, I do not recommend renting from Zindar properties.
