      I debate on writing this review, but I have to let others know about how Ulta beauty treats its customers who are black or brown. I often shop at the location in **********, **** on the west side. After yesterday I will no longer shop. Ulta does nothing to make their customers feel comfortable. The store employees will make your shopping experience feel uncomfortable. They will constantly watch you and make comments among each other. Especially if you are black. They will watch you harder than others. I have experienced this on more than one occasion but never said anything until today. This needs to stop or you will find your self losing customers. Sometimes you have to understand that there are people who are introverts and would rather be left alone than to be hassled, talked about by your associates.ITS UNCOMFORTABLE ??.

      I am very disappointed in the customer service. I ordered products that are cheaper at Ulta than going to a store and buying them. I placed my order 5/14, they created a lable on 5/15 its now 5/21. I order these products at that time knowing that it should be delivered prior to me running out of products. Well I am out of product and Ulta still has not delivered So I called tonight to get a status on my order ******** answered the call. I let her know that I made my order on the 14th, the site says the lable was created on the 15th, got tracking info on the 15th. The package is still saying lable created, but nothing else. Could she find out where the package actually is as I ordered these products for a reason an now have to go to the store and pay more for products that I have no idea where it is. She said we have a 3 to 8 buissnes days no weekends or holidays before they can even do anything. I again explained that I order these products as they are cheaper and now I have to pay at least 20 dollars more than what I paid them already, so how will I be made whole. After 40 mins of back and forth I ask3d for a supervisor and wa a told none are available but they will call me back said I would hold. Another half hour and no supervisor. Now I have no products no answers and I'm out over $100 as I have to buy the products at the store. Don't order from this place just pay more and get it sooner.

      I received urgent voicemails from ************* about a delinquent payment. I had no idea about this establishment and they asked for my social security number and bank account to pay on a delinquent Ulta credit card. I never received any billing statements from ************* until after I returned their calls to state I had no notice of payment due. I then learned ************* didnt have my home and email address, the reason I never received an Ulta card and billing statement.After a frustrating call with *************, I sought help via Ulta's chat, only to be directed back to the bank without a solution. All I got from Ultas chat was a cut and paste message Thanks for understanding and I appreciate your *********** appears that Ulta has no access or interaction with the credit card they offer. Their customer must work directly with their 3rd party partner to address issues. Basically, Ulta leans on their customers to manage their external business partner. Its unacceptable that I was charged late fees and interest without ever receiving my credit card or any statement.************* asked for my email, then sent an email with a payment link, but I couldn't proceed without a credit card number since I never received a card. I called ************* again, reiterated this matter, and requested that they waive the late fee and interest. I also requested to close my Ulta credit card - they said they can deduct the late fee in half, but nothing they can do about the interest fee.This has been a time consuming matter to sort out and Im still expected to pay fees I shouldnt absorbed. The organization, Ulta, offered the credit card but removed any role to customer advocacy.

      I ordered WEEKS ago. WEEKS. They informed me my package would be delivered in 2 to 8 business days. I gave myself plenty of time by ordering weeks in advance for my baby shower tomorrow. Well, products are still not delivered. I reached out to Ulta and they refused to give me an explanation of why my products weren't shipped and delivered according to THEIR SHIPPING POLICY and NOTHING. ****** took my money and points away and I am productless during a high risk pregnancy and won't ha e my products to make me look somewhat presentable super pregnant for my baby shower tomorrow. Unacceptable.

      I am an Ulta Diamond member for the last two years if I go in person and give my phone number in ******** my points have been going to a different account. I have reached out to customer service and gone in person to update this. Every time they tell me its updated, but I havent gotten points.

      Ventured into this ULTA to buy an item that was sold out at ****** and *******. In the five minutes I was in the store, was badgered by at least four staff about needing help- and repeatedly telling them help was not needed. I chose to browse around before finding my item. The last worker who approached me by the item I needed, again asked me if I needed help- and now visibly annoyed, I stated "no". This worker then answered the questions to a non-poc shopper, a person who sought them out to ask for help mind you, about shampoo for their curly hair. I was still in the section for nail polish, reading and browsing for other possible items I could need for my pedicure and same said worker doubled back, this time with a shopping bag, and again asking if I needed help. It was evident that they were not trying to help me, but keep tabs on me. I again stated I did not need help and told them that I was irritated that I could not shop in peace- to which the worker mentioned that it was "for a reason". Annoyed, I decided to pay for my one item and leave. The woman who sought out the worker for help, was ahead of me in line, using her arms as a basket. She had no bag, and I don't think she was offered one either. Which is weird, because why the heck would the worker offer me a shopping bag for my one item while the non-poc shopper would have made better use of it, if they were not under the impression that I was there to shoplift?

      I placed my order on April 27 and still have not received it yet. With *******, I always receive my orders within 2 to 3 business days.I requested to go ahead and cancel my order. I originally requested a re-shipment, however, I am now out of town and it is too late.I originally notified Ulta four days ago of this issue with my order. Even reached out to Chief Retail Officer, ***** *****-******, as part of Ultas executive leadership tesm. I have yet to receive ANY assistance in resolving this matter. This is ridiculous! I will NEVER order from Ulta again. Whats the point?? Sticking with *******. Their customer service is top tier. I am a LOYAL customershould have never went anywhere else.

      In December of 2024, I applied for a credit card in store and spent $80. Since I applied in store that would mean that they would mail me my credit card with my statement. I never received the card in the mail and never really thought anything of it because I never received the card and got nothing from Ulta beauty about making a payment in the mail. About three weeks ago I got a phone call saying that I owed them a large amount of money and that they have been trying to contact me via phone and mail. I never received anything prior to this and my interest rate for the credit card went up and I owe them a lot more money than I initially spent to make a payment for the credit card you have to have a credit card number and I didnt even have that so I couldnt make a payment even if I wanted to. I owe them a lot more money than I should and harassed pretty much on the phone.

      Tried to exchange an item that was defective. They told me I had to sign up for membership to be able to exchange it. Can't even show a receipt. Have to be a member. $14 Not long ago I bought a cosmetic item and when I got it home and opened the box, the item read "tester." I don't live close enough to simply drive back and exchange it. $44 That's enough. No more shopping at Ulta.
