On 8/29/2024 I took my vehicle to be repaired at **** **** miles in Aurora and I was charged $1,668.94. They held on to my car for over 10 days and when I finally went to pick it up it had the same issue. Which is why I took my car to the dealership for further assessment and I was told that nothing was repaired on it. I then had to pay an additional $5,837.56 to fix the issues. On the second time I picked up the vehicle it was in perfect working order. I have not had an issue since.

I took my car to ***************** Miles for the temperature gauge on dashboard going into too high range. They first looked at it and said it needed a new water pump. I paid $480.61 for the pump. On 8/25/22 I was back in the shop for temperature gauge going high again. ***************** Miles said it was the water pump again & replaced it under warranty. They also said it needed new ******************** I paid $150.18. I had same issue and went to different shop (********** Automotive) on 6/7/23. They said the water pump was leaking again and I had a coolant leak. I paid $403.01 for the water pump. They found that ***************** Miles (only ship to work on that area of car before) broke a piece on the cover timing chain and stuffed a bunch of silicone in the spot to try and cover it. The silicone couldnt hold the coolant. ********** Automotive took photos and videos. I called ***************** Miles about it. I showed them the photo and video. I also took the faulty water pump to them to see in person. They initially denied breaking anything and had to fight with them. They eventually fixed the timing chain cover, water pump gasket & other pieces on 6/29/23. They covered the $2,728.24 cost. They have refused to refund cost of water pump though. 1st owner said it was under warranty & other shop could have called to have the warranty transferred fo them. I checked with other shops & all said it doesnt work like that. I had Mikes owner check the computer, and the water pump was actually out of warranty when other shop had to replace it. Then ***** owner said he could have called the pump manufacturer and had them extend the warranty. Again I checked with other companies and doesnt work like that. I had 3 water pumps in 1.5 years because the ones Mikes More Miles put in kept failing. I would like the $480.61 I paid for water pump with ***************** Miles refunded to me. I have a video I can send as well.
