Worst customer service ever, Took months to get a tech out to try and resolve issues, kept changing my plans to get internet, after cancelling service no tech came to collect their equipment until after receiving a bill charging me for missing equipment, then did not update bill after retrieving their equipment, I would not recommend them at all.

I love the speed but have recommendation's. Speeds always were top notch never slow. But I moved and have your competitor ***************** in elko. Unfortunately only option. But they do something else way better. Latency for gaming. Waveform bufferbloat is how you test that. Basically anthem score under load ping on average is 200ms higher which is bad for gaming. Cc is +100 with their default. But they offer your own public ip and bypassing their server firewall or something like that for your own home network improvements for gaming with your own gear or bridge modding their modem. Anthem doesnt. Cc with that package is +5ms. So much more stable for gaming. With persons router firewall security, modem and isp thats so many scans that cause that level of latency. Maybe something else not to sure but assuming theirs was high got that package and now is that low makes me think that is the reason for the latency. Truly my suggestion would just be to use that waveform bufferbloat test. Setup a config where that latency under load is super low (under 10ms). Then create it as a gaming package sell it for $10-$20 more on top of the speed. Call it low bufferbloat gaming package. Best routers to recommend to customers would be SQM routers. Maybe even look into SQM for your gear could lower it more for a gaming package server side at the isp as well. Basically smart queue management. Doesnt affect speed just detects gaming traffic and lets in and out first. Plus those other suggestions.

I called there ******* location on Monday as my Internet had been out since 6am. They said they have no idea what is wrong they have a couple customers call with the same compliant and they put in a work order for a tech to come out. Tuesday at 11am no call or update I call they said still no resolution a tech will call. I called at 430 to check outages zero they are reporting zero! I talk to a rep I say hey no outages? I still don't have Internet she said oh we aren't reporting them because we don't know the cause. I said that seems like you aren't being transparent and an outage is an outage. She said well we have about 100 customers without service. I'm sorry that seems suspicious that a company won't accurately give it's consumers data about a service we pay them to provide.

I used the service for two years and it worked fine. However, when I was moving, I called to cancel my service and I was told a technician would be stopping by in the next two weeks to pick up my Internet equipment And that he would call me a half an hour before arrival. I never received a call. My parents live in the house now and Ive been gone for almost 2 years and they are now finally just grabbing the Internet equipment. Of course, some of it had gone missing in the TWO years it had been there. Now they are trying to back charge me and threatening to send me to collections for their negligence of following through. If you value businesses who *********** and only care about your money I would try to use any internet provider BUT them

My dad is an elderly man and his name is ************************* who lives in ****** ***** and does not know how to use the internet. I am his daughter advocating for him and I have sent three emails to the company today to make sure they are not charging my dad for the service they provide and has not worked for him. A representative from the office (I believe her name is *********) told my dad the service has been shut down and cancelled, however, there is still equipment (dish and router) at his house that needs to be picked up. The representative cannot seem to tell my elderly dad when she will be out there and we would appreciate something in writing from your company considering there are multiple complaints against this company from other customers on the Better Business Bureau. My dad is on a fixed income and I do not want predatory companies taking advantage of my dad. Thank you. *************************

Slow Internet even when it is fully functional. Rarely have a day without distributions to the connection and dropped Internet. Would not recommend for rural Internet, not reliable at all.

I was scheduled to have my internet service installed and started today. I had taken time off of work so that I could be at my house for a 6 hour window. With about 15 min left in that window I decided to call customer support to find out what the issue was as I had not heard a peep from anyone. Well, needless to say I waited on hold for 20 min until someone finally answered. They ironically could not access the scheduling system and transferred me to a line where I had to leave my name and number and a short message. So, now I have no resolution as to when I might be graced with an installation technician. I now have no internet as I cancelled (I know stupid on my part) it thinking I would have Anthem install their service today. I would not recommend this business to anyone that I know. Its unfortunate that a business whose been established for a while now treats customers so poorly. How do you not have a resolution process in place to handle situations like this? Im sure this isnt the first or last time this will happen.

I finally heard from Anthem. They sent the district manager (I think that was his title) he explained that the tower or maybe it was my antenna, that wasn't ready for the higher speed. So it burned up some part on my antenna. Also the person I spoke with on Friday explains that she had waited an hour to make sure it was working. So when she left it quit. They were very apologetic and I was told as soon as the tower will sustain it they will be able to put me at regular speed.

*******,Thanks for your positive review. Glad to hear that our area field manager was able to get you back online and find the issue you were having. We consistently are upgrading our towers as new equipment and technologies become available to offer higher plans and hope to have these available for you shortly.
