    This company is not to be trusted. We rented a home from them on VRBO. Due to my husband having health problems and the property not being fully fenced (we have 3 dogs) we decided to ask if they would give us a refund if we didn't stay, I specifically asked because we were past the refund date. We were told via email and phone that they would give us a 50% refund. For that reason only we went ahead and cancelled the reservation. They told me after our payment went through they would process the 50% refund. I have 19 emails from them and I spoke to them on the phone. After waiting a month and receiving no refund, and getting the run around from them I filed a dispute with my credit card. I was unable to dispute it and regrettably I did send a nasty email to Arco. In my defense we lost $2,342.40 and that is a lot of money, not everybody can afford to throw that out the window. We got nothing for our money but ripped off. If they weren't going to refund us, they should never have said they would.
