    I went on a float trip on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River from 22 July to 27 July 2024. I have been on this exact same trip over 15 times with this same company therefore I am not new to the experience of rafting. In the first hour of our trip, we hit a rock, with no warning from our guide, ***, and an occupant in the front was violently thrown but managed to remain in the raft. The guides normally announce Bump! If they believe there is a possibility of hitting a rock. A few minutes later, we again hit a rock and this time I was thrown out of the boat. Again, no warning. No harm, just got a little wet, but the fact we received no warning it did concern me.*** did not seem to be in control of his raft. At times we either went down the rapid sideways or totally lost control and went down the rapid backwards. This happened numerous times. We asked for another guide but we had *** everyday of our trip.??My real complaint is that I wrote a letter to Mr. ****** and voiced my concerns with the safety of the operation. Mr ****** replied and his solution to the problem was to ban me from future trips. He stated I did not conform to the *** (Idaho Wilderness Company) way. I sent an additional email requesting information on exactly I had done or not done. Mr ****** has not responded and it has been over 55 days.I certainly will not be going with Idaho Wilderness on any trip in the future!The truly amazing thing to me is Mr ****** is a Vice President of the Idaho Outfitters and ****************** yet he does not even respond to my emails other than to tell me I am not welcome on his trips. This after over 15 yearly trips with his company. On one of these trips I brought and paid for my 12 members of my family.
