BEWARE! I started working with Tamarack over a couple years ago now I still don't have a permit. I was told it would take 3-4 months. I hired them to do the architectural work and engineering. They failed in both areas. I got passed form one AI to another...and yet a 3rd before I was given "completed" plans...which I later came to find out were not complete. I moved on and hired another AI to revise and finish the plans. We then found out during the year I was waiting for Tamarack to do their job the local building code change and what I was given from Tamarack was based off old code. I was never told about the changes in code, nor did they adjust the plans for this. So, I had to hire a new engineer to redo the plans as well and now have to spend thousands more to fix the mistakes done baby Tamarack. I requested a refund for the amount I paid and was rejected reimbursement.

We apologize that you were not content with your experience with Tamarack Grove Engineering. We strive to ensure a positive client experience on every project that we work on. We had worked alongside you on several of your requested changes to the project to make sure the design was what you wanted. When we started the project, we completed it under that adopted local building code edition at that time. We are not responsible and were unaware that it had not been submitted by you until after a code edition had changed, as we have no control over that. Once we were made aware of this, our office did offer to make the necessary updates at no additional cost. Once we heard your grievances about your experience, our office decreased your invoice by 60% of the original contract amount even though we had put in 3 times the effort of our original contract amounts due to your changes and expectations. At your request, additional changes were made after you hired another architect and engineer for your project. We offered to work alongside them and make the necessary changes at an additional fee that were based upon their preference and approach, and not code mandated. We tried our very best to ensure we produced quality deliverables in a timely manner based upon a constantly moving target on overall scope of work and unfortunately, we were unable to live up to your expectations for these with our efforts put forth. We wish you the very best of luck in your future project related endeavors.
