  He's added several bogus charges to bill. When questioned him about it, became belligerent. Did not complete job. Door was installed incorrectly. Parts were used that were his own and not part original packaging. He kept original parts.He didn't carve out door jam for lock to close properly.Spit his gum in yard.Do not hire this scam artist.

  David came to our home to put in a sliding glass door off our patio. He seemed to be doing a good job. Advised us we did not need a lock on our screen door. Stupid we said nothing. I paid him for this job and thought I was going to get a good job done. However there is a lot of air coming thru the bottom of this screen door. The wood is chipping off in areas already and he put it in summer ****. I sent him a few messages no answer. Finally he answered said on vacation and will call when he got back. He never called me back at all. He said he stood by his work and any problems call him. I did and sent him texts. He finally got ahold of me last week after I sent him a text. Said he would call next day and did not. Sent him another text and he never answered. I havent heard anything from him since he said he was old call back in which he never did. I would not recommend him for any type of work you may need to have done. He does bad work and will not answer your calls or texts if you have problems. He promises a lot but does not come up hey with what he promises. So I will call someone out to try and fix the bad work he did. My stupidity for not checked my him out first. If you promise something carry thru with what you promise is all I can say. And dont lie about calling and never do. You text you are on your phone and could call. Please dont consider hiring him you will be making a mistake a big one.

  If I could give him a 0 rating I would. Mr. Soukup gave us an estimate of the cost of our door project and we repeatedly asked him if it included all the costs which he confirmed it did. We had paid for all the door materials costs up front. He charged us over $500 more than the estimate by deceptively adding all this additional things after completion. We were so upset by this that we didn't even notice several problems with his workmanship until after he had left with our money. We could see light above and below the doors. The threshold did not even come up against the doorway. The threshold is 1 1/2-2 inches higher than the floor presenting a tripping hazard, which he should have done some transition piece. The inside threshold piece also does not match the color of the white doors. He presented himself as a master builder and was a smooth talker, but he was dishonest and did poor workmanship. We also found out from two other contractors later that he charge over double what they would have charged us.
