  As "city folk" that recently moved to a country acreage, we wanted a windmill to help keep our new pond full and provide us with an emergency source of water during any season. ***** worked with us to come up with an installation to meet these needs. When completion of the pond and drilling of the well fell way behind schedule, ***** still honored his original bid, adapted quickly to some last minute changes, and had his crew out to install our windmill just before the first snowfalls of winter. As this was my first experience with a windmill, I called ***** with some concerns a few days later, and in less than a week he had a crew back out here (a 480 mi round-trip) to address them. ***** and his crew were excellent (and polite) at providing answers to our numerous questions before, during, and after the install. ***** was always quick to return calls and he put a lot of effort into making sure our installation met our particular goals. From our first interactions we felt very comfortable with our decision to go with Great Plains. It is rare these days to deal with a company that is so customer focused. It was a real pleasure working with them on our project and I have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

  Great Plains Windmill is amazing. From start to finish?.prompt inquiry response, punctuality, craftsmanship in fixing parts, install and follow up, the process was seamless and the outcome is a gorgeous windmill!!!   Phil was such a pleasure to work with. The team, including Phil, that came to install a windmill on our farm was polite, respectful, and efficient in their work. They did not mind there were spectators watching them put up the windmill, and were happy to answer any questions my family had during the process. I will be using this company for any future maintenance that will take place over the years to come.

  Where do I begin?! I'm in customer service myself and this company lived up to my high standards and expectations. From the communication with Phil right away, to the install that Matthew and Micah completed. My wife and I've been on a windmill hunt to complete our farmhouse for the last several months. I came across Great Plains through a Facebook ad and made the call. Phil answered all my questions without hesitation. He even made sure we were getting the right 'wind mill' to suite our needs. The price was great as well, and we were even more impressed with the install crew. They each approached us with a smile and handshake. They made sure to ask us if they could drive on our yard to complete the install, even though we didn't have our sod yet. To me, it's the little things that matter, and Matthew and Micah did just that. My wife and I really appreciate you all!
