Not a very reliable company for residential service for the **********, **** area!We have had yearly opening, backflow testing, and end of year shutdown for multiple years with them.1. Multiple replacement or rebuild on the backflow up to this year. Why? If they shut down the system correctly in the fall, this should have prevented most failures. Big expense each year!2. They always send someone that doesn't speak English or very limited English. Makes communication between them and me very difficult if at all.3. This year they are trying to tell me all my valves are leaking and need replaced. They weren't leaking last year. Again, if it was shut down correctly there shouldn't have been that many failures let alone all of them! 4. It appears to me, it's a way for them to pad the contract costs that they charge each year. I'm done with them! I believe we have given them multiple chances to provide the service that they promised.Note: I couldn't even leave a BBB review from their Web page. I had to copy it to the BBB Review form,.

I sincerely apologize for the experience you had with us. It certainly isn't the standard we set for ourselves. To address your comments in order:1. You had a backflow replacement in Spring of 2023 and I see no other charges associated with your backflow from 2020 through today. Unfortunately, in the fall of 2022 you had your system winterized on October 24th, at which point there had been multiple days in a row with temperatures in the 20's and many backflows, including yours, froze and broke due to the cold. Unfortunately, there is not a lot we can do to manage the weather beyond encouraging people to winterize early in the season.2. All of our Service Technicians, who are the associates most customers interact with, speak English. In this instance, because of the recent rains, we redeployed some system construction associates to get your work done in a timely fashion and I do apologize that the group was put together without someone fluent in English.3. As far a the valves leaking today resulting from incorrectly done winterization, it is always possible that is the case, although it happens very rarely since the valves are opened during winterization and it rare that any residual water can remain with the pressurized air that passes through them. We see that wear components (like a valve) fail/begin to leak during the irrigation season and because most customers run their systems overnight it can go unnoticed until the detailed system review happens in the spring.4. Well in excess of 50% of our service contract customers have zero other costs besides the seasonal start up and shutdowns. But, that is almost always directly related to the age of the system. With any manmade products, there are wear parts that do eventually fail and require maintenance. This especially relevant with systems older than 10 years and properties that have more than a few trees- trees seek water and can reach the irrigation laterals with their roots and restrict the flow of water and/or cause leaks. We offered to do the work of rebuilding your valves at zero cost but were unable to provide that service on Monday and you rejected our offer to do it on Tuesday or a later date. That offer still stands.I will refund your service contract amount of $294.25 and hope that you would accept a situation where a mistake was made with a bit of ****** If not, at least your aren't out any money for your start up and backflow test this year.

While opinions about pricing are a customer's right, my understanding is the customer contends that we had increased our pricing considerably to provide backflow testing from 2023. Their 2024 and 2023 invoices show that the price charged was the same both years. We did not provide a backflow test for this customer in ******* benchmark our pricing annually against other irrigation contractors in the market and have found our pricing to be substantially similar to competitors in the ********** area and in other markets in the ******* (***********, *****, ********, ***********). As far as being hung up on, our associate maintains she did not hang up on the customer. As a goodwill gesture I will cancel the current invoice for this customer and they can use another provider from this point forward.
