Would not recommend this company to anyone. We had solar panels August of 2019. Communication was terrible. One of the forms needed for the state credit was not given to us. When I asked about it I was sent a very rude email and told to send anymore questions to a woman that worked for the State. We waited three years for our tax credits because the paperwork was not processed correctly and then it was very rudely told that was our fault As we are looking to add more panels I will definitely not be going with this company again

Frustrating is the word that comes to mind. Took 10 almost 11 months to get solar up and running, we asked them to re- estimate our usage before the install (since it had taken so long, our useage had significantly changed- kids moved out) and we were told no it was too late to change things. We asked in the very beginning- week 1- to get 200 Amp service and to get solar ran to our back shed and we're told yes that could be done- neither was done. Our yard is tore up on both sides of the house from the install this winter and no one has offered to seed it or take a roller to it to flatten it back out so we can at least mow! They often gave short notice. When the install took place one of the workers knocked (we couldn't hear that) and then just walked into our house- we had a doorbell for crying out loud. Not to mention when he walked in he left the doors open when we have pets! It was also confusing as there were several people contacting us about the project- Ryan, Teresa, Dennis, Matt.... Now we are paying on a bigger loan that generates more electricity than we need since they wouldn't re- estimate, can't even use more electricity by using it in our pole shed or with a 200 Amp service. We aren't even able to run our electric water heater on a high temp because the 100 Amp service won't cut it. On top of the fact the breaker switch is now outside the house. Disappointing experience plus we still need to spend money on grass seed & flattening our yard back out before we can mow this spring. Oh and did I forget- it's officially a year later and we are still unable to monitor our service online as that piece wasn't set up yet. Not to mention we had to turn the solar panels on ourselves which we did not know how to do. Which this company would make some of these short comings right with us but I contacted one of them with all of here issues and radio silence was all I got. And they ran credit to 3 of us in our family- which we told them who owned the house on day 1!

We paid about $70,000 for solar on our duplex. After we signed our contract (September , 2021)we were told the system would be up and running in 3 months. It took them over 3 months to understand both sides of the duplex are owned by us to get the application/approval correct. They then had the panels dropped in our front yard where the sat for about 3 months. Installation was finally finished and online March 24, 2022. We soon noticed the system was not producing on one side. They told me the inverter on that side needed to be reset which we had to do ourselves. After repeated resets we realized the the inverter on that side stopped working completely on approximately July 1, 2022. After repeated contacts they determined the inverter was faulty. That was August, 2022. It is now October 17, and at this time they have done nothing to correct this and apparently don’t feel they need to keep us updated as to when they might get around to it. Before you commit to solar do your research, check BBB, Yelp, goolgle for reviews. Have your legal representative explain your rights under the contract. Remember if something is not stated in the contract it won’t be covered. Verbal promises are worth the paper they’re written on. Edit. Prior to writing this review I sent a text to our salesman asking when they were going to do something about this. This is their response. (“David, this is being handled by our support and service division, I sent that information this morning over to Nicole”) “this morning” I’m not sure what this means, if I should be thankful? Looks to me that they have been sitting on this for the last 3 weeks. The system on one side hasn’t worked since July 1 and they were aware. sigh……. The sales and service department gets 3 stars for effectiveness, no stars for execution. I will update this when there is something to update.

Hi David, In response to your review update, you are aware of the equipment delay for the replacement inverter (SE11400H-US) which was processed and approved from the manufacturer on 08/17/2022. Communications via email on September 26, 2022 and again on October 17, 2022 provided the necessary information to keep you in the loop with regard to the processing and replacement of the SolarEdge equipment. Additionally, we received a response from Fred confirming receipt of the communications. As of (10/21/22) the status of the inverter is in “Shipment Processing” as also identified in the case number listed in the email Fred K. received on October 17. As previously communicated, lead times for this equipment has been months and fully under the control of the manufacturer. Our installation service and support team is aware of the installation and will be dispatched once we receive an official tracking number and accept delivery of the equipment from SolarEdge. Additionally, if at any point you would like an update on your warranty case, please consider calling our office at (563) 582.4044, emailing: [email protected] or connecting with our Service and Support team directly via online chat. If you are not receiving our communications sent to Fred K., please consider connecting with us to provide additional contact information. It is our hope we will receive notification soon of your SolarEdge equipment being shipped so we can quickly schedule the necessary repairs and have your system working at an optimal level. Cost me $16,000 dollars to have solar panels installed on one side of my old house built in **** in *******. I was working out of state as a Covid crisis nurse, when the work was done. No one called to see where I wanted the *** car charger wiring placed. They placed it in an old garage, although I wanted it outside where I have parking pavers and where others besides me could use it. Management refused to move it, telling me Id be charged me $325 to do so. The fence is very old and it should have been recommended to wait until It was replaced. The crew didnt clean up and had to be called 3 times to deal with there garbage. The communications were unprofessional and the rep blamed me for being out of town, as the cause for the issues. I had property manager in town they didnt call or communicate well with.I trusted this business, based on the former owner. Unfortunately, I was treated with a lack of respect and perhaps its because Im a single female whom they wanted to take advantage of? Would be Very interested in what their competitors would have charged me and my mistake was not getting bids. I would not recommend their products or services, especially given the competitive market and their lack of respect for me and my property. .

The only response to my complaints related to the car charge was that it would cost me $325.00 to locate it where I wanted it in the first place. What was your alleged solution to the situation?
