      The term policy I bought is over in 6 months. I called Fidelity & Guaranty Life for information on canceling the policy. The new premium if I continued is $900 more a month. The real problem is at the time I purchased the insurance, the agent asked if I wanted Return of Premium. I said yes and the box was checked, that was in 2005. Now after speaking to an agent the Return of Premium was not included in the policy. I knew that it would be a problem if I requested the money. That's how insurers stay wealthy, by unscrupulous business practices. How can you trust them to pay your benefactors if the unthinkable happened? Fidelity if you employ agents to represent your business who are unethical, what does it say about your company.

      Trying to get payout for 401K and was a sent a check that was lost in the mail.Called many times to explain the problem and was told to wait it would be coming. It did not. Then was told I could have them void the check and send it by wire transfer to my husbands account. Told it would happen it did not. Now have been told they are not transferring due to my saying i was my husband while trying to get this to progress due to his health problems he asked me to handle it. Beyond tired of them trying to prove who my husband is and having been hung up multiple times. Now waiting on another call back. Very unhappy.

      *** had a deeply disappointing experience with this life insurance provider. There is a serious lack of transparency, especially regarding surrender valuesthey do not clearly explain the terms or how your money is handled.Customer service is equally frustrating: expect long wait times and unhelpful, vague responses. Most troubling of all, I discovered I was being charged for two separate life insurance policies without my knowledge or consent. This is unacceptable.Due to the severity of this issue, Ive reported the company to the state under consumer protection laws. I strongly urge others to be extremely cautious and consider other providers who value honesty and customer support

      I have had three policies with F&G since 2005, and have had no problems for twenty years with my premium drafting automatically each month. That is until November of 2024, when my checking account was hacked. I called and informed them that I had to close my checking account on file and open a new checking account. With in those twenty years I have never missed a payment. I also cannot access my account online because they do not have access to accounts prior to 2012. Since November of 2024 I am still trying to get them to draft my account from my new checking account. I have had to prove with ************ that I paid prior to November of 2024. They have internally made mistakes by not linking all three accounts and will draft one but not the other two. I have spent over 15 hours on the phone trying to get this straightened out. I have faxed all the information and documentation they have requested with still no resolution. No one in the company even managers have been able to override the initial processing error which they say they have handled in house. I receive letters on a weekly basis that my account is in jeopardy of lapsing and was put on bill restriction. Now that the processing department has that on my account it will not allow the company to draft payments. In January ******************************************************************************************************************************************** February for the original amount. Come February ********************************************************* a check for overpayment. Again another hour long phone call that resulted in them telling me to cash the check because they cannot draft a partial payment. I reluctantly cashed it, in hope that they would finally draft the current amount due and I would be back on track. Again this was a lie! I have done everything they have asked of me and they have done nothing they have promised me. Please do not use this company!

      I canceled my policy with this company and they keep harassing me sending me letters that they didnt cancel my policy I sent them documentation that I didnt want the policy they are crooked and just went into my account a week early and I canceled the policy and now they are still sending me letters saying they will take out money out of my account I am going to warn them one last time I hate this company

      I am like so many others, warning of what this company is and does. I am currently getting the run around with trying to cancel this policy. Taking from teacher's retirement...it's shameful. Luckily, I was able to stop payments, but I was taken advantage of and this company should be required to pay us back our list funds.

      I sent a letter 9/24 to cancel my policy up for renewal 11/24. Sent me a form, which I filled out and returned. They said the signatures did not match. I sent copies of the form, my drivers license, and a third letter with my signature confirmed by a notary on both. In the third letter I stated I did not want the policy renewed; that I did not agree to the policy at $425.12/month; and that I did not approve any further withdrawal from my bank account or my premium account for this. 10/2/24 I received a letter that the policy was cancelled. 11/12/24 they withdrew $425.12 from my bank account. I called the ********************** and was told this would be corrected and I would receive two checks in 7-10 business days. I received letters from 11/12/24 stating the policy is now $449/month, but no checks.

      On 8/9/2024, I received a letter that they would mark the policy as not taken and any premiums received will be refunded 60 day from the letter. Which would be October 9. However they have continued to take money from my account on October 26. I have called every other day since Oct 25, the call center ****** ***** refused to escalate to her. Everyday I get up and work hard for my money and to have someone dismiss my money, time and insult my intelligence is unbelievable. How can you try to keep someone money, when you state it will be refund back, we are beyond 60 , 90 days. I am sure that you will do the right thing refund all the premiums back so help me God.

      THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY TO HOLD YOUR MONEY. The RATING IS 0! I requested an emergency distribution and it took 45 days of lies, mistruths, incorrect information, etc.. I spoke to several people before submitting the application to ensure a speedy process. It took the ***resentative 20 minutes to provide an email address, which turned out to be incorrect. I had to submit the application three times, although one of the ***resentatives reviewed my submitted application with me over the phone. I was told that the processing time was 7 days and that I should call back within that timeframe. When I called back, I was told that it was on hold due to an address change??? The same day, I received a letter in the mail (same address) asking me to reconsider my withdrawal request??? During the process, I had to be referred to three subject matter experts. I spoke to a total 16 people over a 45 day period. The surrender fee that was ridiculously high. On my last call, the *** went through all of my numbers and they still sent the check without processing the State taxes, although they admitted that I requested to take it out on the application. The company then told me to send back my distribution and they will process it again removing the State taxes. The taxes aren't even apart of the net distribution. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE...EVERYBODY WILL KNOW ABOUT THIS *******, TIK TOK, INSTAGRAM, ********, X, YOU NAME IT, I'M ADVERTISING IT!

      For years, the fees were more than what my annuity made. I'm sure my advisor made more than I have. Now getting my funds released has been a royal pain. Avoid this company at ALL costs.
